• Rosetta Stone Language Program; Is It Legit?

I think everyone has seen the commercials for the "Fastest way to learn a new language" called Rosetta Stone. I've considered checking it out because I was curious, but I was wondering if anyone that had possibly used it before even came out with results. I know a few people that are thinking about trying it, (I already am taking a class for Japanese, so I'm not considering using it for the time being) and I'm just wondering if it's worth it?
It's legit, I haven't went that much through it, but by the way they teach it, it seems to be very good.
I've heard very good things about it. My fiancee's father really seems to like it. Never tried it personally though.
I have Rosetta Stone for French, Japanese, and German. Maybe if you have more patience than me you could work with it. Was really difficult for me.
It's good, I have the Spanish one. It teaches you like as if you were a child, through association. You are shown pictures of 4 things and then there will be a sentence spoken using a word for one of the pictures. You pick it up quite quickly, highly reccomended.
I want it for spanish but it costs £375. Fuck that.

Thanks, I'll tell my friends who actually have money for the stuff.
It IS. But only for people who actually are devoted to using it with long sessions for about a year. As for me, I decided to give it a try and learn. Within 8 hours of using Rosetta Stone, I learnt more Spanish than what 2 years of Spanish class did to me. Sadly I just wasn't really devoted to using it all the time and I just stopped altogether.
