Half-Life 1 too OLD and BORING for you? This is THE replacement for Half-Life 1, breathing new life in this OLD and DUMB game! Trust me, every reputable gaming news source says so! Parody aside, this should be combined with the Scientist Slaughterhouse mod.
when's the hl2 version

Too bad SMOD is one of those older mods that doesn't really work anymore.

But Half-Life? That's like having a Scooby Doo episode where they find out about the Illuminati.

It doesn't even launch.

Thank you so much for this wonderful gift. Damn, no patch for CSS Sci Fi. That's a bummer.
doesn't fit as well as Brutal Doom does. Half Life doesn't work as well as blood and guts praising the god of pain you know?
I played it. It's alright, but I think one of the major benefits of Brutal Doom that Half-Life doesn't have is that Doom has an extensive list of vanilla-style mod campaigns that can be integrated with Brutal Doom, Half-Life doesn't have nearly as extensive of a list of original levels that can be played with Brutal Half-Life. Makes for a more boring and less re-playable experience. I think they need to branch Brutal Half-Life out more than Brutal Doom is and rather than just make it 'gory Half-Life 1 with 2 new weapons" they should make it have tons of new features to the base HL1 campaign like the Race-X enemies from OpFor and remixed maps.
You know, considering that this is the 0.1 version, it could very well have that in the future, maybe even some other expansion assets like the different HECU soldiers. IMO, if they manage to create a good base, mappers would get interested on the mod. I just wish there was more to do in this, firefights feel a lot better thanks to the extra effetcs, weapons could use a more pleasant sound instead of bursting my ears however.
