Well, i was watching An Idiot Abroad (see no reason why this show is on Sci Cha and not Travel Channel), and I saw an ad for Firefly, starting the new series! I didn't catch the date however, but will update the OP when i see it again.
Wow if that's true that's great, Science Channel has a lot of good shows.
That's awesome.
There is, and will never be a season 2 of Firefly. From the words of Joss Whedon himself, Serenity was 'Firefly season 2', and if he were ever given the chance to continue, it would be through another movie and not a series. Unless you are talking about another show that has the same name, in which case, I am glad that you are getting another season of your show.
aggh watch your wording, it's reruns.
Fuck. I thought this meant season 2.
well it said 'new series' over Firefly so i thought it was... well... a new series :saddowns:
well it said 'new series' over Firefly so i thought it was... well... a new series :saddowns:
It's alright, we forgive you.
Doesn't change the fact that we'll get to watch Firefly on TV like in the good ol' days.
damn it was expecting joss whedon to be the savior! but i would watch but again i own the box set =D
I only started getting into Firefly recently so this is some good news.
so it only re runs? dam it! i wanted MORE - it was so good i now own the box set
Its on the "Horror" channel here in England too for some reason. I just found my mum watching it. I was happy.

They're just integrating commentary into the show. But, it's very interesting that they own the rights to the series now... though we won't see anything come from it any time soon.
Wait they actually own the rights? I can't help but feel optimistic, although I know my hopes and dreams will be crushed in one way or another. :smith:
Firefly's on, on the Science Channel, right now. Haven't seen it before, I like it so far.
well it said 'new series' over Firefly so i thought it was... well... a new series :saddowns:
Yes a new series on their channel. They're just airing the first season of firefly now.

Great show, but It wouldn't be the same if they continued it after Serenity (if you've seen it you know what I mean)
Great show, but It wouldn't be the same if they continued it after Serenity (if you've seen it you know what I mean)
all joss would have to do would be to declare serenity non canon
he said he would if he were to revive the series
This just got onto Netflix, I freaked out when I saw it. I only caught a few episodes when it was on and loved the hell out of it, and have seen Serenity. I'm pacing myself though, I couldn't live with myself if I just burned through the series.

Not just once though, first you watch it in English, then you memorize all the lines. Then you do this for all the dubbed versions. Also you are going to pause with every chinese word and find out what it means.
My sister and I used to experiment a lot as kids. I was older, and I should have felt guilty, but it was all her ideas, and my sister's really smart for her age. REALLY smart. I mean, I'm in the top 1% of my class, and most of the time she's smarter than me. So when she suggested that we experiment with each other sexually (I was extremely shy and awkward around girls), she explained it in a way that really made sense. So we started doing it, and it was great. It ended when she left home to go to a special advanced school. I was sad, but she was really excited and it was hard not to be excited for her. One day, I got a letter from her from school. She was having a really hard time there and wanted to leave.I tried to convince my parents to let her come back home but they didn't want to, thought it was important for her to stick it through, but I knew she didn't like it there, so one day I showed up. She was so distraught, I took her away right then and there. I can't talk about what was going on there. She was still a minor, and it was a dicey situation for a lot of reasons. My parents, like I said, didn't approve, and I guess they always suspected we were a little too close. The government was after us, so we had to be very careful. Luckily, I managed to smuggle her in a box aboard a rickety old starship. The Captain found us, but he had troubles with the Alliance from way back, and I think just to spite them, he let us stay. My sister's pretty screwed up, and she clings to me, so we've resumed our sexual relationship, though it's a bit awkward because there's this other girl there who has a huge crush on me.
Best troll wincest ever.

OH HEY IM BLACK GUY PILOT NUMBER TWO LET ME JUST SQUEEZE INTO THIS CAST HERE Unless he uses the period in between the show and the film.
