Ok so...How is it possible that I'm able to run Episode 2 at 150+fps on mid settings WITHOUT a graphics card?
I have a P8Z68-V PRO motherboard, but didn't really read anything about it having the ability to run advanced graphics. Just wondering if anyone knows how I'm doing it?
That 150+ fps seems a bit odd but not knowing your graphics settings i won't sya it's impossible. Most modern CPU's have integrated graphics chips on the cpu die, Intel are a bit weak in this regard and they aren't really suited for gaming but AMD are great strides in this area with their Fusion APU's that allow decent framerates at 720p resolution and mid settings on most games.
For this to work the motherboard has to support it, I'm not sure which intel chipsets do but all AMD socket FM-1 motherboard support this as all FM-1 processors have integrated graphics chips.
So I'm using my i7 as a graphics processor? Because it's running entirely-too well...I almost don't believe it. This is totally new to me, if that's the case.

yes, the sandy bridge IGPU is really great.
Welcome, to 2011.
The new i series processors have surprisingly decent GPU's built in now a days.
I still wouldn't use in i7 without a dedicated gpu (ridiculous bottleneck)
But until you can get enough for a dedicated gpu it's a good substitute.

I'm sure if you can afford an i7, you can at least afford a 560Ti

no it's 1155, 2011 comes out later this year

I've known people that get their PC in intervals.
The HD3000 IGP is really quite impressive. In my opinion, every CPU should have some function of video output, if your dedicated card ever needs to RMA, you have a backup for desktop use and even some light gaming. A great combo in my mind.

Zing!
I had a question about that, is it 2011 because it's released in 2011? Or are they sticking to the
"it has 2011 pins" the way they have been and it's just coincidence?

No it was fabricated that it has 2011 pins and they planned to release it in 2011 for that fact. If they were going to release it in 2012 they'd probably add another pin.

except it is being released in 2012, Q1
it's just a coincidence
Did you even check your dxdiag page?
The AMD Fusion APUs are better in a GPU sense, but I suspect that this won't be a long term consideration.

I had a case for a year before I could afford anything else :v:
without a GPU ? How the heel you will get video on your monitor :v:

Besides it adds an extra VGA, DVI, and HDMI port to my PC. And somehow you can play games on those ports and somehow runs off the 6850. Isn't that hybrid crossfire or something?
Virtu Logix.
it's a features of Z68, which you might be using. Allows you to use onboard GPU for desktop use and some transcoding, and then use the dedicated GPU for gaming and heavy stuff.
