I've used 365 for both my universities.
This feels like a decent move regardless, since it feels pretty fragmented having both avaliable
I haven't used teams much, it's not something a student would use, since we all use our own platforms (trello, whatsapp etc.)
We've used Skype For Business (and Lync), for calling campus professors, lecturers and administrative staff without with just using the internal network. Keeps cost to a mininum.
Article says that S4B isn't going away though, so I guess a business doesn't have to commit to this if they don't want to, which is fine, but I'm not sure what's changing with that release.
This all being said though, when I accidently click the Teams button on OWA, I generally just close my account within an hour, since it's half a social network (internal linkedin??? microsoft owns that too).
:v:
I used Teams at work this summer and it's pretty mediocre at best. The GIF chat function is pretty stupid for a professional program though.
