Already own them all, hardcore Relic fanboy reporting in.
Fuck yes!
Easily one of the best weekend deals steam has ever had.
Worth buying Space Marine?
W40k: Space Marine for $16.99? Jesus, it's like I have to buy it now.
Worth buying Space Marine?
Definitely.
Space Marine is tempting, but what about the dawn of wars?
Nice, I just got Emperor's Elite Pack DLC for Space Marine. I love Black Templars. [editline]2nd February 2012[/editline]
Space Marine is tempting, but what about the dawn of wars?
I've had a lot of fun with Dawn of War 1, it's probably my favourite RTS.
Space Marine is tempting, but what about the dawn of wars?
Get them all. Dozens of High Quality mods on DOW1 and its expansions.
Dawn of War Gold Edition - 6.79 Dawn of War Platinum Edition (Includes Gold Edition + Dark Crusade) - 3.39 Oh I love Steam's silliness
Original Dawn of Wars are best Dawn of Wars. Except for Soulstorm.
That reminds me, I won a copy of Dawn of War II and I really don't like RTS games yet I never found something to trade it for.
I want Space Marine but I heard the multiplayer had some really bad issues. How true is this?
I want Space Marine but I heard the multiplayer had some really bad issues. How true is this?
What kind of issued did you hear about, because I haven't had any issues with the multiplayer.
What kind of issued did you hear about, because I haven't had any issues with the multiplayer.
That it has or had some really bad latency issues
What kind of issued did you hear about, because I haven't had any issues with the multiplayer.
I've had terrible experiences with lag. That and it uses this stupid leveling system where you need to unlock any of the perks or weapons.
That it has or had some really bad latency issues
Hmm, I never seemed to notice any issues with the latency.
I've had terrible experiences with lag.
Every game has their own kind of unlock system, its all personal preference I suppose.
Sure but this is straight up call of duty you need to play a couple of levels with a disadvantage style unlocks.
Buy All the Games, Way better than that Duke Nukem shit they tried to sell me
I want Space Marine but I heard the multiplayer had some really bad issues. How true is this?
The lag is game breaking.
The lag is game breaking.
Yeah that's what I heard but I thought surely by now it would have been fixed. Oh well, if they ever do fix the issue I'll consider picking this up since the gameplay itself looks fun.
Played it yesterday, hasn't been fixed and never will be. Just buy it when it's cheap as hell.
Regardless of the issues with the multiplayer the single player is well worth 16 dollars.
Wow, even Dawn Of War 1 costs more in NZ. Anyway, Got a 25% coupon that works with these. Space Marine is still $30 USD on sale here, so I won't use it. Takers?
Sure but this is straight up call of duty you need to play a couple of levels with a disadvantage style unlocks.
You can level up in exterminatus mode aswell.
Debating whether or not I should get any of these... Is Space Marine just your typical linear shooter set in 40k? And how's Retribution?
Debating whether or not I should get any of these... Is Space Marine just your typical linear shooter set in 40k? And how's Retribution?
Space Marine's a fairly typical shooter, but i thought it was unique, it also had a great campaign. Retribution is a squad RTS, great campaign. In my opinion, both are worth getting.
Space Marine was repetitive as fuck all and I never once got the feeling that I was truly a nigh invincible towering behemoth that uses over powered weapons that fire massive slugs that instantly explode everything.
