Good, cop killers are fucking scum.
I wonder how much money it cost to find him
I wonder how much money it cost to find him

The manhunt has involved as many as 1,000 officers at times, some from other states. It has cost several million dollars.
Worth it for capturing a murderer, especially one with an irrational hatred for police.
Good, cop killers are fucking scum.
Why bother distinguishing?
now rot in jail you piece of shit
Save some of that angst. I'm sure there will be more of them.
Who is this guy, and why do I care that he's been found and arrested. (User was banned for this post ("If you neither know nor care, why post in the thread" - verynicelady))
son of a bitch i had money on him hiding until thanksgiving. i still dont understand how with all the APCs and drones the cops have it took them this long to find him. i guess the 'surplus' MRAPs are better used for taking peoples money
Why bother distinguishing?
Because a single murder is an attack on at most one person, a heinous act yes, but an attack on a single person, an attack on an officer of the law, or any other emergency services worker, is not only an attack on someone willing to devote their life to the protection of others, but by extension also an attack on the people they were charged with protecting.
Who is this guy, and why do I care that he's been found and arrested.
Some guy who apparently a few months ago ambushed two state troopers, killing one, and then slipped away though a carefully crafted plan. It went sideways when he got his car stuck in a marsh and had to flee on foot, then for all this time he was being a fucking ghost and repeatedly getting over search perimeters.
About time, Shows that you really never know who a person is. Played airsoft with him alot never gave off the vibe of doing shit like this.
Thus ends the legend of the Diaper Sniper.
About time, Shows that you really never know who a person is. Played airsoft with him alot never gave off the vibe of doing shit like this.
You seem like the person who would play airsoft with him.
Next thing you know he'll be on a mission in vietnam rescuing some POWs.
They're both killing people. You can't really apply an inherent value to one human's life over another, not without serious implications in regards to values of human life as a whole. Is there a difference? Not really. Not at the end of the day.
didnt he just say that he wasn't applying a value to a human life?
About time, Shows that you really never know who a person is. Played airsoft with him alot never gave off the vibe of doing shit like this.
so much is explained now
Everyone I know was expecting the police to shoot him the second they laid their eyes on him.

Not at the end of the day.
Well... yes, and no, I do agree with you but there's an asterisk next to that agree. What does one person do or can do versus another? What is the context? I'd argue that my life now is not as valuable as an EMT worker, because I don't routinely save people. Though in a zombie apocalypse (supreme hyperbole right now) I'd say we're about equal, I might be even more valuable because I can do all sorts of things and I'm a crazy survivalist who enjoys camping with the most minimal of supplies. You'd want me as a friend in that situation, I'd have more value as an ally/friend because of my wide range of very relevant skills. Yes, all life is precious and should be preserved whenever possible and yes, murderers are terrible no matter which innocent life they take. That doesn't mean that objectively looking at the value of one life or another is wrong, you're just looking at the raw facts of what somebody, a life, is capable of and what they can or will do with it.
Prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty for this guy, btw.

he had a good run. stay safe diaper sniper
he had a good run. stay safe diaper sniper
Your country has decided it is in the best interest to fill him full of experimental drugs. Unfortunately Superkill, there's an invisible line drawn between killing some asshole on the street, and someone with a position of power (funny how that works). Kill a random person, you get 5-20 years. Kill a cop/celebrity/political figure and it's instantly the death penalty, if not the rest of your life.
He must smell like shit.
I think he thought we some some type of sick Rambo.
emergency service workers put their lives on the line directly for the betterment of the community
some of them want to get to carry a gun in public
some of them want to get to carry a gun in public
Because it's not like any citizen can do that in most states.
