The portrait features President Putin combing the hair of Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev. Its artist, Konstantin Altunin, has since left the country to seek asylum in France, according to the director of St Petersburg's Museum of Power. Police said four paintings that were seized broke unspecified legislation.
Those horny police just want the painting all to themselves.
Police said four paintings that were seized broke unspecified legislation.
Translation: Putin got buttmad and wanted it gone, and wanted the artist in a Gulag. I really hate making this comparison, but Russia is starting to reflect 1938 Germany.
As funny as this may be, it really highlights a very disturbing direction that Russia is moving towards...
I'm sure that Russia was always authoritarian but yes things seem to be getting worse.

Disrespect to the name of Putin is now blasphemy, I see.

Well this has a creepy V for Vendetta vibe.
I interpreted the title as meaning they seized the painting from a woman's underwear
I interpreted the title as meaning they seized the painting from a woman's underwear
Me too, I was wondering how they kept a painting in underwear.
This painting, despite being very ugly, has now become extremely expensive for collectors.
As funny as it is it reminds me of the story behind a painting in V for Vendetta.
