Garry have you considered releasing a "Rust - Test" in steam to have the community do some testing themselves before pushing it out? I know a few games have done this in the past, most notably dota 2. Not sure if that'd help anything, figured i'd throw my 2 cents.
That's what Rust is, though. It's an early access game; and it's purpose is for the community to test these things. Further splinting the community into "test community" and "test test community" would be both redundant and time consuming. [editline]3rd October 2015[/editline] I'm dumb and didn't read the full article; apparently there already is a Dev Branch that players can play to test these things; they just didn't catch it this time.
One thing I can think it can be happening in a soon time, the Reboot of the legacy Rust ! I dont know why but I can smell it , why not ?

There would be main rust then some wierd offshoot thats just slightly different.

There's already multiple versions of the game floating around, I can't imagine multiplying that would make things any easier for them.
No judgement: is sucking the community's dick like this to apologize necessary? Like, serious question, is the community entitled so much to their early access game that a dozen apologies is necessary for a patch fuckup?
