This all started a month or two ago. I kept receiving calls for someone by the name of "Josh" (There is no Josh at my residence). From one of these calls I was informed that it was for some intern deal or something of the sort and that I would probably get a lot of calls for him from different places. They also told me his address which I couldn't remember in it's entirety. Well sure enough the rest of the day came calls for him, but then they stopped. No more after that day. All is good. However, today I got another call for this "Josh". This time they informed me that it was for a State Farm insurance quote, and that I would again receive countless calls from different place as my number was given to them from an internet portal. The special thing about this call was that they gave me his last name. So I thumbed through the old phone book and there he was; Phone number, address, everything. The address I know is his because I remember parts of it from that previous call. The strange thing is there are two of him in there, two different addresses. I Google Mapped one and there was only an empty lot. The other was an actual house.
So what should I do with this info?
Has anyone else had something like this happen?
Any other thoughts?
He is giving you cancer
You are going to die
Raid his house in SWAT gear.
You could have been assigned a new phone number, or the phone company is delivering his calls to your address

Well the people who have called confirmed that they called my number.
Sounds interesting
Perhaps you may benefit from alerting the authorities?
Unless that first, bare lot was the home of his last victim :ohdear:
Yeah..
Come round and slap in the face with your meat.
Next time one of them calls, yell, "LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE! MY NAME ISN'T JOSH! AND JOSH WILL NEVER LIVE HERE! I BANISH THEE!."
Is it a cell phone?
some guy doing random internet surveys could be using your numbers as 'fake' info to fill them out.
I know someone named Josh.
take pictures of the empty lot and house
:munch:

Kill him, before it's too late!
My name is Josh. I gave my first name out on some random site but gave a bogus number. The number seems to be yours. Sorry about that.

that would fix the problem
If he's from state farm, he's obviously you're neighbor!
Like a good neighbor, Josh is a stalker.
Create a Legacy. Though, no one probably knows what I'm talking about, I really should make a Legacy thread one day.

What this dude did was grab a phone book, flip to random page. Fill out online surveys with number. Gain money. Profit.
Somebody is giving your number to random companies.
