Case: Antec Twelve Hundred PSU: Cooler Master RealPower M 620W Mainboard: Asus P6T SE CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-960 Prozessor HDD: Intel® X25-V G2 Postville 40 GB (for the OS) Memory: GeIL DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1333 Quad-Kit Drive: Blu-ray Combo SATA LG CH08LS10 OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit
What're you going to use it for?
No, it has no GPU.
What're you going to use it for?
Gaming, I don't know if it's good or not, that's why I am asking here. You could also recommend me better gaming builds for about 2000$, I really lost track of what's good and what's not.
No, it has no GPU.
I'll use my old GPU for a little longer. (Sapphire HD4890 1GB GDDR5) Also going to use my old HDDS.
No its not worth it, spend less, and use the money for other things and/or future upgrades
uh why is that anywhere near $2000 post links to the exact items you're looking at
you could get a 480 and a 6 core AMD build for that. i say it's not worth it but whatever
uh why is that anywhere near $2000 post links to the exact items you're looking at
It's about 1500€ http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=os&artno=YQBM14&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=cpu&artno=HT1I1D&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=powerSupply&artno=TN6M40&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=pccase&artno=TQXA61&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=harddiskSSD&artno=IMGMW6&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=bdr&artno=CEBL27&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=mainboard&artno=GTEA10&cn=1 http://www.alternate.de/html/pcbuilder/productDetail.html?searchClass=ram&artno=IDIF83J2&cn=1
No it's not worth it. If your are using it for gaming, then you're better of with a i5 750 (Atleast Price:Performance-wise), or something similar: http://www.alternate.de/html/solrSearch/toArticle.html?articleId=361744&query=i5+750&referer=detail&link=solrSearch%2Flisting.productDetails You can get RAM cheaper than that, take two of these:http://www.alternate.de/html/solrSearch/toArticle.html?articleId=364481&query=G.Skill+DIMM+4+GB+DDR3-1333+Kit&referer=detail&link=solrSearch%2Flisting.productDetails(Do you really need 8GB? Why not 6 with Triple-channel instead?)
Hell no its not worth it.
Hell no its not worth it.
You should get an i5 750 + another 4890
I'd use this for gaming if I had your budget (roughly £1400) Case: http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductID=1123332&source=froogle PSU : http://www.ebuyer.com/product/176413 CPU : http://www.ebuyer.com/product/204939 (overclock) CPU Cooler : http://www.ebuyer.com/product/177411 Motherboard : http://www.ebuyer.com/product/206344 RAM: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159927 GPU (crossfire another 4890) Roughly comes to about £1000 ($1700 usd) and that leaves money for your OS? Also, format and use your old HDD? Or just get a 500gb internal HDD rather than SSD, it's a lot cheaper.
no
Oh, I messed up, thanks. Fixed.
Why are you so set on using somewhere near 2000$ on building a computer that will be outdated in not so long, when you could build one for about 1200$ and upgrade it later on? You will stille be able to play the games you want to play..
