They're still selling at a loss correct?
Still no good games to justify a purchase.
7 million consoles... 0 games.
Yeah the new generation has zero good games.
Cool but the ps4 and xbox one have no good games atm the wii u is going to have smash bros.
Yeah the new generation has zero good games.
Pretty much every generation starts out like this, give it time.
I can only imagine what this generation will be like by the time the next GTA comes out. Finally some progress!!
Cool but the ps4 and xbox one have no good games atm the wii u is going to have smash bros.
Wii U had no good games when it first came out. It took almost a year, for nintendo to get pikmin 3 out. At least PS4 has inFAMOUS second son and Killzone Shadow Fall right now and much better multi-platform support than Wii U.

Is going to. So you can't say that makes the Wii U better. Then I can say that the PS4 will eventually get GTA 6. How is that an argument when we are talking about games that are currently released that justify a purchase? :v:
Cool but the ps4 and xbox one have no good games atm the wii u is going to have smash bros.
Wii U is going to have the only good game it is getting.

The PS3 started out like that in the beginning, but the Xbox 360 had a good start within the first few months. Project Gotham Racing, Call of Duty 2, Oblivion, Need for Speed. The newest consoles don't have much to offer in the way of games. Ryse, Killzone, Knack, Battlefield? Meh.
There are 50 games for the PS4 out right now....
Out of those you've got Infamous, Killzone, etc... which are all fantastic.
You people always complain about there being no games but once exclusives start rolling out you are the same to complain that you don't have the console to play it.
Consoles are an investment. You buy them and they last you the better part of a decade.

50 games? I bet most of them are indie trash.

ps3 launch price was 600 bucks, only like 2 games besides sports games were out at lunch. the first ps3 model was garbage; it overheated, had an incredibly small harddrive, was bulky, was loud, and had no wifi.
i bought my ps3 3 years ago for like 80 dollars with 3+ games.
great investment, right????

What? I have the fat 40gb variant. (Replaced with a 500gb hdd) It's not loud, it doesn't overheat and has wifi?

I hate to break this to you, and all Smash Bros fans out there, but the vast, vast majority of people don't give a shit about Smash Bros, they can play real fighting games on every other system.

Wait a minute, that sounds like the 360. The 360 didn't have wifi support when it first came out, needed to buy an adapter, hell even the MW2 edition needs an adapter.
My first generation PS3 just only recently died, thing was left on sometimes, by accident, for a week at a time. Bulky yes, loud not really, never overheated, well until recently, and the hard drive wasn't hard to change, literally any computer hard drive fit, unlike the 360 proprietary one.

It's about the online payment and store that really makes the profits

Pretty sure every model of the PS3 ever had wifi, it was one of the big selling points over the 360 and its "wifi not included". Only one model of the launch series had an incredibly small HDD, the 20GB model, which at launch was still more than enough space for a number of games as nobody realised installing games would be needed for a few years.
Bulky? Yup. Loud? Sometimes. Overheating? Only the models with PS2 compatibility are on record for that.

I can confirm this with the 60 gig model too?
The one that lets you also play previous generation games?

Hey, I mean it's better than all the XBox One triple-A trash I've been seeing advertised.
I mean literally the only game I'd give a shit about on it I can just buy on the PC through Origin, or on a 360 for that matter.
you sure are stubborn arent you
I want some more complex games that aren't a bunch of casual arcade shovelware that's worth 10 bucks a pop. Mount and Blade Warband is an example of a good indie game why can't there be more? Banished and FTL too.
Wii U is going to have the only good game it is getting.
Monster Hunter, ZombieU, Pretty much all the mario games, Tank Tank Tank, SSB, Nintendoland (which is surprisingly really fun for a game bundled with the console).
I could go on. The WiiU is a console that is better for local split screen play. Just like other consoles all have their advantages and disadvantages. (Except the Xbone, I personally cannot see a single advantage for it except for it's exclusives and the HDMI input.)

I'd say one thing the Xbone has over the other consoles is the UI/OS.
I'd say one thing the Xbone has over the other consoles is the UI/OS.
I actually haven't seen much of it's UI. Is it anything like the 360s?
I actually haven't seen much of it's UI. Is it anything like the 360s?
It's more like a blend of the 360's with somes Windows 8 thrown in there, but it's incredibly smooth and works well with the controller.
Imo the PS4 UI/OS is kind of scattered and hard to navigate, and the Wii U's UI/OS is pretty organized and simlple it can be rather slow at times.
and the Wii U's UI/OS is pretty organized and simlple it can be rather slow at times.
I've never had a problem with it being slow. The only thing I find slow is the internet based stuff, but that's just my internet being a bitch (or at least I think it is)
I've had the PS4 since launch and I still have trouble navigating it. And my only issue with the Wii U, other than it being a bit slow at times, is that the amount of tiles you can have on screen seems to be too little.
I've had the Xbone for a little over a week and everything is just much easier and smoother.

Mine has just had a few issues with loading that little calendar thing that shows play time. Up until a few patches ago mine took a bit too long to launch into a game.
I've had my Wii U since launch so it could be possible I could have a lemon, but w/e it's nothing that'd make me go and send it in for repairs or something. I only had to reset it factory defaults once but that was because of my external storage fucking up and messing with my Wii U when it booted up.
