I'm currently building my computer and I've plugged all of the power cables in from the PSU. I plugged it in and saw no light coming from the motherboard, I tried to push the power button but nothing happened at all. Please help me Facepunch.
Did you use motherboard standoffs?
Problem solved, but it has evolved into an even bigger problem. Now it turns on perfectly, the fans spin, the LEDS work and the DVD burner opens and closes, but nothing comes through the monitor.
Have you checked to make sure that your video card is plugged in all the way, and that the connections are secure between the card and the cable, and the cable and the monitor? Also, turn on the monitor after you've checked the connections, and try cycling through inputs, some monitors may not autodetect your video output.
Can you post what motherboard you have? Make sure the cpu is being powered.
