It's a real pain in the ass, I've stopped the skype process and everything, it's still there.
Obviously you'd have to already known to restart your computer, have you tried restarting [URL="http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-restart-explorer-exe-process-properly-in-windows-xp-and-vista/"]explorer[/URL]?
Many computer issues usually go away with a reboot (in my experience). Though something tells me this is recurring, I've never seen anything like it.

I always try to find different solutions than restarting the computer.
And no, I haven't restarted explorer.
Yes, this is recurring, it happened once before with spotify but then it worked by just restarting spotify.

I have this same issue do you use Equalify by chance?
i have the same issue on my win7 laptop! restarting dwm.exe fixes it but it's a bandaid fix. it does that sometimes with any right click menu
