• Choosing a gaming case

Basically, I'm getting bored of my dusty, messy Antec 900, and I'm looking for a new case. I had my mind set on the Corsair 800D for a while, but after discovering it will be over $350AU (I'm in Australia by the way, so no Newegg links thank-you) I figured it would not be worth it. Do any of you have some ideas as to what case would tick (most of) these boxes?: Big interior space, and has to be able to fit a Noctua NH-U12P Easy cable management, I don't want to drill my own holes. Good cooling Decent build quality (I'm not looking for diamond cut edges etc, I just need something that won't fall apart, break or cut my fingers when I open it up.) Stylish, isn't overdoing it with crazy angles and shitty LED's everywhere to make a bad case look good. Under $350AUD ($280-$300 USD). Seriously, that's my maximum. I'm looking into the HAF 932 right now; it seems very user friendly and big, but I'm not really for the C0uL GaMmer GuY-look. The other one I'm looking at is the Lian-Li X2000, but I really don't have that sort of money, nor am I prepared to have a case of that Height:Width proportion. Thanks in advance.
I am in Australia as well. Were do you live (NSW, QLD). Do you like the Antec 1200?
HAF 932. Nuff Said.
I use a Coolermaster Mystique 632. Great case, entirely made out of metal, so it keeps the insides cool. [editline]06:26AM[/editline] And it's huge. Fits 2 GPU's just fine and everything. Also, it's screw-less. Everything uses snap-in technology, even the PCIe slots.
I personally don't like the HAF 932. The Antec 1200 is a full size case as well so it fits alot of stuff!

I use Umart to buy my gear.
I use a Coolermaster Mystique 632. Thanks though.

And it has up to 4 possible fans, 2 of which are pointed straight at the motherboard.
Throwing this out there: I'm australian too (melbourne to be precise) and I use www.pccasegear.com They have amazing service, great prices and ship australia wide. I've often got my orders the day after purchase. As for a case, I recommend Lian Li. They are top quality cases. IMO, the Armorsuit PC-P50 http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_30_394&products_id=12172 If you don't like that, have a look at some of the others they have. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=25_30_394 I had an Antec case before I got my Armorsuit PC-P60, and it's much better quality, and looks a hell of a lot nicer. Most Lian Li's are brushed metal too, looks fantastic
I am from NSW =D

What's your opinion on the PC-P60's cooling?
There's one without red, yes. pccasegear doesn't have it atm though, there is one around. Also, the pc-p60 might be a little steep for your price end, but the cooling is fantastic. i have never overheated once since I got this case. [editline]04:54PM[/editline] Looks like casegear doesn't have the p60 at the moment, only the p80 (which is a full tower version of the p60, and is also expensive). But other websites should have it.

My Coolermaster V8 looks like a mini-stock fan inside my HAF 932. Your Price:$159.99 - Antec 1200 Your Price:$139.99 - HAF 932 20 dollar difference, but that's 20 dollars saved. HAF 932 is beast, my good friend. And a good damn choice. US Currency, but in AUS currency or not, HAF will be cheaper.
but yeah, I HIGHLY recommend lian li from personal experience from having an antec case and a lian li (and also friends who have antec cases) Oh and if you're concerned, your cooler will definitely fit in any LL mid-tower. I've got my enormous thor's hammer sitting easily in my p60 [editline]04:57PM[/editline]
Are you high? My Coolermaster V8 looks like a mini-stock fan inside my HAF 932. Rusty, http://umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=139&bid=2&sid=37044 How about that, as opposed to the p80?
Yeah, the Lian-li shit is high quality and hardcore, reviews are outstanding. But is a 300 bucks gaming case REALLY worth it? I mean, my HAF 932 is awesome and is just as good as the Lian-Li case. I may be talking out of my ass since i haven't seen the comparison benchmarks, but I seriously doubt you really need to spend 300 bucks on a case unless your running HD4870X2 on crossfire.

HAF 932, CM Storm Sniper/Scout NOT XCICLO.

Get a HAF932, if you want a fulltower case Haf922 for a midtower case that is just as long as the 932 only 5cm not so high... I have a Xfire of 2 HD4870X2 and its perfect the cooling is awesome too bro
Get the CM Cosmos 1000 or even better the Cosmos S. My friend has the Cosmos S and his computer is freaking ice cold. He has a V8 cooling his i7 and it idles around 15C and load around 30C and his GTX285 idles at 36C and loads 48C.
OP, listen. These overhyped and overpriced cases aren't just worth your money unless your running 4870X2 on crossfire in a Sahara Desert, and even then, I hear the HAF 932 can cool Tri-Sli GTX 285 by itself. GET THE HAF 932 CASE. It fits everything you listed in the OP.

Then don't doesn't matter to me. I'm just trying to help the guy make a decision not prove a point.

Damnit, the Corsair cost $280 :( It looked sexy I was thinking about buying it nevermind now lol

Pretty good overall, but the snap in graphics card slots didn't fit my 4870 (had to use screws that didn't come with the case). Also, this may be a dumb question, but what in the world are those sliding covers on the front of the case for?
