I plan on buying a custom built computer tonight from newegg.com, but I am getting kind of reluctant, being a little worried if the parts I selected are compatible, and if i need the required parts. I already have a keyboard/mouse/OS.

this is the build, reapaninja has helped change a few things, but i'd like some of your insights.
thanks
The only part I think is kinda iffy is the graphics card, at least get a 4670.
I dunno, I'd go for a cheaper HDD and a better video card, but it really depends on what it's going to be used for.
The build will be fine, however if this build is for gaming get a better video card.
Hold on $500 budget and 4670? I use that card and had the same budget, but I had to get an OS too so I'm sure you can get a 4850 or something. Making a build for you.

No optical drive? Even better.

$525 before rebates. You could get an AthlonII triple core if you want to save off $15, but the rebates (if you are patient) should make it under budget.
