A Maine woman was arrested on domestic violence charges — while wearing a “Stop Domestic Violence” T-shirt, according to police.
Emily Wilson of Sangerville got into an argument with her husband — after she accused him of having an affair, according to the Bangor Daily News.
The 38-year-old whipped out a .45-caliber handgun during the April argument and began waving it around before shooting at the mattress, prosecutors said.
Wilson — who works as a high school teacher and field hockey coach — was collared on April 18 after her hubby called the cops, according to The Smoking Gun. She is shown wearing a purple anti-domestic violence shirt in her mug shot.
Oh wow, she's a high school teacher as well. Doubt she'll ever work in a school again.

:speechless:
Way to let one argument end your career, nobody's going to hire a teacher who threatened someone with a gun.
Projection and virtue signalling at its finest.

Might not be virtue signalling in the typical sense, and more like the thing where you (honestly) feel guilty for something and thus feel the need to redeem yourself by complaining about it extra loud.
You know, like closeted gay Republicans who fight against gay marriage.
Don't see anything wrong here :downs::downs:
How does this even happen

Alternatively... Perhaps the shirt is cursed?
Like, when you get an organ transplant from a serial killer, and then you become one? The threads of the shirt could have been recycled from a bin of sleeveless flannels.

Is my conclusion really that absurd to you, or do you have a problem with my writing style?

I get that we don't know the entire situation but i don't think she should go to jail for a whole year.. and your post indicates you think she deserves more? A few months, a restraining order and some fines for sure but a whole year in jail over an event where no one was harmed? seems excessive
