WOOO finally
Washington's next.
i fear this is to good to be true. what are the specifics?
i fear this is to good to be true. what are the specifics?
The specifics? proposition 64 received more yes votes than no.
god you guys could be fucked and be celebrating about it....
Still trying to imagine what it'd be like. "Hey man, wanna smoke weed after lunch?"
god you guys could be fucked and be celebrating about it....
Marijuana!
god you guys could be fucked and be celebrating about it....
whats wrong with the bill?
Washington now, too. [editline]6th November 2012[/editline] FUCKIN CALI, WHY YOU LAGGIN
god you guys could be fucked and be celebrating about it....
Wheres the fucked? For the second time in six years, Colorado voters will be asked to “legalize it.” If it passes, Amendment 64 would make possession of marijuana by people older than 21 legal under state law, and establish a system to tax and regulate the sale of marijuana.
And pretty soon when people get their heads out of their asses it will be a nationwide thing. I don't even smoke weed and I'm glad this got passed, this has gone on for way too long. A civilized country with leading medical and scientific research, yet we can't even look at our own evidence disproving any major effects of longterm use. About motherfucking time, to sum it up.
looks pretty solid system to me. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50133577n
prop 64 passed, now the federal gov vs state gov battle begins

People should be allowed to consume what they desire responsibly. If you are able to do so in the privacy of your own home without endangering someone else or yourself then it should be legal.
Awh shit blew my mind son
that is the system ive been waiting for. Something strict enough to make government officials happy and genuinely attempt to do it right without any sketchy-ness.
that is the system ive been waiting for. It wasn't strict enough and "politically attractive" as George Soros put it. Too much freedom and education for the first bill. Calling out the federal government and special interests for lying about marijuana certainly didn't help either. WA's and CO's bills are good starting points, it's a foot in the door.
Canada next pls
problem is that its not legal under federal law, which overrides state law.

Im confident Colorado will be the golden child in showing the rest how its done.
Yeah that's what I'm getting at, but it still being categorized as a schedule 1 narcotic is just pure ignorance of proven data.
def agree to that. Doctors against medicinal marijuana argue that we dont know enough about all of the cannabinoids in the plant yet researchers have to jump through hoops to be able to study it. The least they can do is drop it down a notch, its ridiculous.
problem is that its not legal under federal law, which overrides state law.
That's only what the feds say. If that were constitutionally true, there wouldn't be a purpose whatsoever to amendment allowing states to pass their own laws.
Canada next pls
there's already lots of talk about it in canada. when washington legalises i'm sure british columbia will soon follow, then the rest of the provinces, except maybe alberta.
That chain man... it just takes one thing to trickle to everywhere else
That's a double edged sword, bro.
This better start moving around the US..
If the US starts doing this a lot it might give Australia a nudge, doubtful but I can dream.
I'm happy for you 'Mericans. :) 420 blazzit!
