• Looking for a nice Voice Chat program for gaming

Currently use mumble but looking for a nice alternative due to two reasons: not being able to host my own server(or I just don't know how) and random kids coming into server looking for sex talk. If you could teach me how to make my own server that'd be great too. If not, looking for a maybe nicer program where I can host my own server.
Skype, Steam, Google Hangout, Xfire?
Teamspeak and Ventrillo are popular for gaming.
Mumble has an in-game overlay. The names of the people that are talking glow.
Definitely Team Speak.
Skype, Steam, Google Hangout, Xfire?
I hear Skype is heavy on processing, should I worry about this? We have a bad delay on the Steam group chats. Never heard of Google Hangout gonna check it out
Teamspeak. Has an overlay for in-game stuff too.
Skype, Teamspeak, Mumble and Razer Comms which is still in development
Have Second Life running in the background and use that
Mumble has the murmur server which you can password protect...
I use skype, have always used skype.. Fine for me on usage.
I use Teamspeak3 with my friends, I'm hosting my own private server. I really enjoy TS3, because the server is so easy to use and there are many ways on moderating your server. The sound quality can be set to either low bandwidth or high quality, but even if you set it to high quality, the bandwidth usage is really low (I have been running the server for a month and so far it has sent ~20mb of data, and there are almost constantly people there speaking.)
