• 500$ laptop

I know basically nothing about laptops, so bare with me. I have a budget of around 500$, and I live in the US. I'll be using it for running applications and some games, so I'm not really looking for a netbook. I already have a decently powerful desktop, so it doesn't have to run a lot of new releases or hard-to-run games. I'm definitely looking for something that can run games like Morrowind or Garry's Mod smoothly, though. I don't need a lot of hard drive space either, so the key thing here is optimal performance for gaming for the price. Let me know if that's an unrealistic expectation for my budget. I'm not sure what more information I should include, but if you need to know more, just ask. Thanks for the help.
Morrowind shouldn't be a problem, but for 500$ you're pretty much guaranteed integrated graphics. While they have improved over the years they're still not great.

I'd still like the most raw performance I can get for my budget. I'm not looking for a web browsing laptop.
Gaming on a budget laptop is pretty awful. I think Morrowind just might be a problem. Just look carefully at each vid card, & you're really lucky if you can find one suitable for gaming @ $500

I'm definitely set on getting a laptop for this budget, I'd just like to get as much power possible for the price. Any gaming I can do on it is a bonus. The reason I say I'll be using it for games is that I don't care much about hardrive space or other fancy extras that sometimes come with laptops, like a webcam etc.

And for my budget, I'd like to get the most power possible. That laptop does look really nice, and I may get that. It's refurbished though, which has me a little concerned. :/
Tigerdirect is normally good about doing quality refurbs.
