Tragic Dinah McNicol gagged, raped, murdered then buried.

[release][b]Tragic 18-year-old Dinah McNicol's body was then buried in rubbish sacks by Tobin in his own garden - just feet away from another dead girl, the jury was told.
Dinah's frail dad Ian, 70, wept as he heard how his daughter was found four days after the remains of 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton were unearthed from under layers of soil and concrete.
The discovery - 16 years after Dinah's disappearance - came in a cold case probe which saw Tobin convicted of Vicky's murder last year.
Yesterday prosecutor William Clegg QC said: "Excavations uncovered a human body wrapped in green and black rubbish sacks. This was the body of Dinah.
"It was tied up. The wrists had been tied together with the arms behind her back.
"The ankles were also tied together, a knotted gag was found in her mouth, presumably to keep her quiet as she was murdered."
Dinah's Scots dad Ian had used a walking stick to enter Chelmsford Crown Court, in Essex, as he came face-to-face with the man accused of killing his daughter.
Tobin, 63, denies murdering Dinah 18 years ago after her body was discovered in the back garden of a home he used to own in Margate, Kent, in 2007.
Mr Clegg told the jury decomposition had made it hard to establish a cause of death. But post mortem results were consistent with "ligature, strangulation and gagging".
He added traces of a drug prescribed to Tobin which caused drowsiness was found in her bloodstream and his thumb and fingerprints were on the rubbish sack.
Mr Clegg said: "There is clearly a sexual motive behind the abduction and murder of Dinah."
He told the jury of three women and nine men how the teenager disappeared in August 1991 following a weekend with pals at a music festival in Liphook, Hampshire.
The court heard Dinah befriended a man called David Tremlett with whom she spent the rest of the festival weekend.
Mr Clegg said: "They left the festival at about midday on Monday and began hitchhiking along the main A3 road towards London.
"The second lift they had was from a man travelling alone.
"David was dropped off. He left Dinah sitting in the front passenger seat of that car.
"The only other occupant of the car was the driver - no one Dinah knew ever saw or heard from her again.
"We will seek to prove that the driver was in fact this defendant and that he not only abducted Dinah but murdered her."
Tobin, then 45, lived in Margate when Dinah vanished.
And Mr Clegg said the description of the driver was "consistent" with Tobin - a man in his 40s driving a hatchback car with a child seat.
The jury heard Dinah was given £2,700 compensation for her mother Judith's death in a 1980 car crash, and she had put it into an Abbey National account for "her future education".
Mr Clegg said just four weeks after she vanished the account had been "virtually cleaned out".
He said withdrawals were made from ATMs in Margate and Ramsgate in Kent, Brighton, where Tobin used to live, and in Portsmouth, where Tobin visited his son.
The prosecutor told how police investigating her disappearance started searching Tobin's old home in Margate in November 2007 after "suspicions fell on the defendant".
On November 12, two plastic sacks were found buried under earth and concrete in the garden.
Tests revealed they contained the dismembered body of Vicky Hamilton, 15, of Redding, near Falkirk, who disappeared in February 1991.
And the jury was told evidence showed Vicky was drugged and sexually assaulted by Tobin.
Then, on November 16, 2007, Dinah's body was discovered in the same garden.
Mr Clegg told the jury that Tobin's neighbour had seen him digging her grave in the summer of 1991 and joked with him that he was "digging to Australia".
The QC said Tobin is serving life for Vicky's murder and was earlier convicted of the rape of a 14-year-old and indecent assault of another girl in May 1994, and was found to have drugged the two girls.
Mr Clegg said traces of anti-depressant drug Amitriptyline found in Dinah's body had been used on the 14-year-olds and was also discovered in Vicky's body.
He added: "Amitriptyline causes drowsiness and would be an aid to anyone seeking to abduct someone."
The QC said the conviction for Vicky's murder and the similarity between her case, the rape and Dinah's death pointed to Tobin's guilt.
Tobin went on trial over Dinah's death in June but the case was abandoned due to his ill health.
The retrial continues.[/b][/release]

You can't take news seriously here, that's how this section is.

Us internet tough guys have to keep our image intact, you see.
What the hell. When I read "tobin" at the top I had thought that one of my favourite music producers raped and killed a 15 year old. :ohdear:
[editline]06:13PM[/editline]
Although I breathed a sigh of relief upon learning it was Peter, not Amon.
What I don't understand is her 'friend'. He leaves a girl in a car alone with a stranger- nice work buddy!
The thing to do is drop the girl off first, safe and sound, then you make your way home. You're a guy, act like you have a pair!
