Nice, the game kinda went toxic since it became more popular.
As long as it's reliable then sure.
what if someone uses the term snigger...?
what is someone uses the term snigger...?
:v: but case-by-case basis investigation, wouldn't be surprised if they were hit thinking they could get away with it
I love being censored on the internet just because someone didn't leave their safe space yet. You get death threats from the government whenever you buy a pack of smokes or a bottle of alcohol, so getting called a "faggot" once is weak in comparison. "Toxicity" has become a buzzword and everyone even remotely mean is now "Toxic". You can always ignore the person and you can always quit the game if that dosen't work.

More games and companies need to combat discrimination. I don’t care about “safe spaces”, im just tired of people calling me a faggot because I’m a different orientation.

It's a whole lot easier to say nothing than it is to type some stupid, derogatory shit into text chat. Anyone who does that shit is putting forth effort to be an asshole, and there is zero reason to go out of your way to be an asshole.
You get death threats from the government whenever you buy a pack of smokes or a bottle of alcohol
And when I thought I couldn't be more surprised at the stupid shit people say, you post this. They're called warnings so you don't get breathing problems/lung cancer or drive drunk and run over somebody, what fucking ignorance.

I always report people when they use racial slurs but it's not because they're using slurs. They're always some annoying bitch that teamkills and spends the game being a piece of shit and insulting everyone. If it was a game like TF2 or a game with more players in a server with instant respawns, I wouldn't care but in a 5v5 game with no respawns, it just ruins the game when you get TK'd at the start of the match and called a nigger while they start a votekick on you because you're playing as their main.

You being bad for business isn't censorship, it's stopping you from ruining it for others.
I love being censored on the internet just because someone didn't leave their safe space
Don't worry about it, I mean, it only happens if you manage to convince enough people you're a dick, yeah? So you'll be fine. Until you're not. For some reason.
You can always ignore the person and you can always quit the game if that dosen't work.
or they can just not act like douchebags
You have the freedom to speak, but not the freedom from punishment. You can't harass people in the real world without punishment, I don't see why that should be any different in a private video-game match
heh... fucking nerds get out of your safe space accuses the gubberment of making death threats because of a warning on a pack of cigarettes
Toxicity has become so much of a buzzword, that the government is claiming there are toxins in tobacco! When did this world become so politically correct?
:v: but case-by-case basis investigation, wouldn't be surprised if they were hit thinking they could get away with it
I mean if they say "stop sniggering at me" they will get away with it, because that's proper usage.
Will it be black and white? I call my friends faggot in game ch at while in discord with them. Would there be checks to see if its just tongue in cheek bullshit ting around?
Man i just wanna play the game and have fun, not have some retards getting on my dick for peeking them and filling up the textbox with piss
If you peek me I'll tell you to eat shit and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Of course I'll only do that once I managed to shoot your peeking ass down.
I love being censored on the internet just because someone didn't leave their safe space yet.
If this at all affects you, then I guess you'd be considered an asshole and part of the problem? That's literally what this is combating, so if you're one of the people who get banned for your speech, you must be a toxic person in the game and fully deserving of the ban that breaches their terms of service that literally tell you not to say shit that's illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment. Don't like it? Too bad, either make your own Siege or start a "Toxic League" and use Discord for comms or some shit I don't know or really care about how you figure out how to throw shit around. Break the rules and they're well within their rights to tell you to fuck off for 2 days, 7 days, 15 days, or permanently. This was already the policy, it just got easier for them to do so.
You get death threats from the government whenever you buy a pack of smokes or a bottle of alcohol, so getting called a "faggot" once is weak in comparison.
Fucking really??? Warnings that "this shit will fuck you up and we won't replace your broken organs on account of your stupidity" is a death threat??? And that's your justification for calling someone a faggot??? Holy fucking shit dude, is a Claymore mine threatening you because it says "point towards enemy" on it, implying that if you go to the other side of it you'll die? Are those signs that say "keep all limbs within the vehicle during the ride" on rollercoasters threatening you with ripping off your limbs? Is everyone else a faggot for not being an unsafe dipshit doing backflips on loop-de-loops?
"Toxicity" has become a buzzword and everyone even remotely mean is now "Toxic". You can always ignore the person
Yeah, sure, in the same way you can "ignore" someone yelling "you're a nigger" at you. For starters, you can try and pretend they're not there and you're not hearing exactly what they're saying, but that doesn't actually fucking work in the real world, pal. You're still hearing and listening to them being a fucking dunce. Alternatively, you can plug your ears so that you can't hear it, but then you can't hear everyone else. Replace "hearing" with "reading" and that's exactly the situation in Siege. Sometimes I need to see my team's text chat, which means it needs to be on. What I don't need to see is your obnoxious trash talk. Unfortunately, it's all or nothing if I disable text chat.
and you can always quit the game if that dosen't work
I'd rather you quit. I'm not the one ruining the gameplay experience, I'm not the one who needs to leave. This is just taking care of that, only it's involuntary, which works for me.
or you could just not be a billigerent asshole in online games
Yeah. It's piss easy to play video games without calling people niggers and faggots. People who use those words ad infinitum are doing it because they are intentionally trying to be the worst kind of gamer. They can all get permabanned from every multiplayer game in existence and I won't shed a single tear.

"Toxicity" has become a buzzword and everyone even remotely mean is now "Toxic". You can always ignore the person and you can always quit the game if that dosen't work.
i will never understand this mindset ever. in league of legends, i report tons of people every time i play for telling me to get cancer, calling me slurs and just being a complete asshole to me or my teammates this doesn't particularly upset me, make me angry or even bother me sometimes but i still mute/report the people that do it because it's completely pathetic to treat people like this and act like this in a video game. after reporting people in the games, i typically get a message that says "a player you have reported has been punished" within a few days/weeks in 5 years of playing league of legends ive never had as much as a warning for bad behavior or trolling becuase ive never felt the need to harrass or try and upset random people just trying to play a video game. if you are knowingly being an asshole to people, you deserve to get punished and eventually permabanned for repeated behavior and i hope more game developers continue to implement systems to report and punish for this as time goes on.
I'm surprised people aren't getting banned/punished for teabagging and hitting dead enemies with melee. Mean players will stay mean and forced "good behavior" will only increase the toxicity.

Common wisdom holds that the bulk of the cruelty on the Internet comes from a sliver of its inhabitants — the trolls. Indeed, Lin's team found that only about 1% of players were consistently toxic. But it turned out that these trolls produced only about 5% of the toxicity in League of Legends. “The vast majority was from the average person just having a bad day,” says Lin. They behaved well for the most part, but lashed out on rare occasions.
I still don't get why people lash out in-game as not only is it fucking embarrassing to you and the poor bastards who are playing with you, but spreading that tilt to your dumbpubbie is only going to make them perform even worse than he/she already is :v: Just vent in your own vc about how retarded your dumbpub mates are, it's just as satisfying to let it out without getting the inherent negatives of doing it publicly and you won't not salvage the entire game for spreading that toxicity around.
