argh fuck
Probably hundreds of chinese manufacturers filling the market for much cheaper.
I used to love having these on the Christmas tree
CHRISTMAS IS RUINED
I didnt know cadbury made chocolate coins. do/did they sell them in the US too?
The Daily Mail tries to blow this into an attack on Christmas. Lol. What the hell, Daily Mail? Is nothing a conflict when you are involved?
Gee that sucks, though there's a million-and-one companies that could make good chocolate coins. I mean, they're a staple of Christmas stockings all over Britain, always a sack of those tasty janglers on top of the satsuma.
Weren't chocolate coins a Hanukkah thing before it was a Christmas thing anyway?
Didn't realise Cadbury even made chocolate coins. The ones I get always taste like advent calendar chocolate.
Probably hundreds of chinese manufacturers filling the market for much cheaper.
Yeah but the cheap ones are always Euros since they're sold all around Europe
Other companies do UK variants. There are even notes as long blocks. Cadbury's were nothing special.
Noooo fuck.

Why though? These used to be my favorite when I was a kid :(
Oh well, it's not like chocolate coins as a whole have been scrapped.
I'm not really sure if this is a big deal anyways, seems like every city has some giant hundred year old chocolate company that makes really good stuff and then there's the tons of cheaper brands like Hershey's which are still amazing

Real Cadburys is incredible.
Did they replace them with chocolate checks or chocolate credit cards... Or chocolate apple-pay? I hope Stephen Colbert covers this its like something he'd blow up on
I used to go to the mall when I was little and buy bags full at an all candy store with my mom, sad to see them go.
In America, Cadburys is made with Hersheys chocolate. Real Cadburys is incredible.
i'm not a fan of hershey, hell i rather eat godiva chocolates.
Other companies do UK variants. There are even notes as long blocks. Was never the best chocolate though, I'd sooner buy a proper bar of chocolate or nearly anything Lidl or Aldi sell to be honest, as they do great chocolate.
No joke, apparently Jews give each other this on Channukah. It's called gelt. My Jewish friend told me that his favorite part of Channukah is the "Jew-gold" and I thought he was joking.

In all honesty, as much as I am familiar with chocolate coins, I never distinctly remember Cadbury ones. I swear I've only ever had ones produced by random brands..
