Muath al-Kaseasbeh. Anchor Bret Baier warned viewers on “Special Report” Tuesday evening that the pictures were coming, adding, "We feel you need to see it." “Tonight, we are going to show you some of the images ISIS has put out,” he said. "The images are brutal. They are graphic. They are upsetting. You may want to turn away. You may want to have the children leave the room right now." The Fox News anchor added that the network decided to air the horrific images in order "to bring you the reality of Islamic terrorism."
wow this is just wow
They seriously showed it on live television?
"Let's show ISIS propaganda to our viewers to increase our ratings"
honestly that's good, they prefaced it with a warning and had the courage to display the atrocities being committed by an insane group of fundamentalists in all honesty, it's something that brings us closer to these events, and should serve to make us more cognizant of them
They seriously showed it on live television?
No fucking joke. They're going to be in deep shit from the FCC, no matter how many warnings are slapped on.
"Let's show ISIS propaganda to our viewers to increase our ratings"
no news agency decides to do something that emotionally motivated for a ratings boost jesus can we get over the circlejerk for this one story
no news agency decides to do something that emotionally motivated for a ratings boost jesus can we get over the circlejerk for this one story
Unfortunately for your argument, Fox News is officially classified as entertainment, not journalism. That's how they get away with their shit constantly.
essentially what fp is saying is that im encouraged to show drawings of muhammad but i cant show a real event that has real impact despite several warnings like what the fuck is wrong with people these days
It's just stills, its not that big of a deal. It's not like they aired the entire video. If CNN did this no one would give a shit but because its Fox it's time to throw hissy fits.
Unfortunately for your argument, Fox News is officially classified as entertainment, not journalism. That's how they get away with their shit constantly.
this is exactly the shit im talking about like stop tagging on them and realize that this one instance of action on their part is actually pretty useful like we get it fox news sucks mostly but christ separate yourself from this attitude for a sec man
"Let's show ISIS propaganda to our viewers to increase our ratings"
If the point of the video is to scare people, do you really think it scares the average american? Do you think it makes them go "oh, we really should stop blowing up them ISIS folks lest they come over here and start burning people"? At worst I think this traumatised some people who didn't hear or heed the warnings and at best it increased support for US airstrikes.
now all the white conservative 60-something year old men in america have something special to talk about at dinner for their nightly "what the sand niggers are up to" rant at their fat androgynous wife
I'm glad they did it. Hearing about it is one thing, seeing it will make you react to it rather than shrug it off like all the other bad news you hear, and it's something that needs reaction
I'm glad they did it. This is absolute bullshit it's fucking Fox news for fucks sake they're doing it to get an extreme reaction from people and make everyone pissed off against Muslims for their own fucking pathetic agenda and this proves they will do anything to achieve that, it's fucking disgusting. You really think the avarage Fox news viewer is going to think "We really need to tackle this crisis of terrorism" ? No! they're going to think "fuck Muslims kill them all!"
"Let's show ISIS propaganda to our viewers to increase our ratings"
I dunno about you, but most people in the West would be sickened and disgusted by the footage. It's hardily propaganda and they're making their own grave with it.

You don't even know what the fuck you are talking about.
Mean while Lou Bloom is rubbing his hands with glee
Do you even watch Fox news? Their "agenda" post-Paris has been separating Muslims from extremists. You don't even know what the fuck you are talking about.
lol is that what they were trying to do with the "no-go zones"
lol is that what they were trying to do with the "no-go zones"
Hannity is a fuckin joke and should never be taken seriously. Virtually all the controversy and shit storms start because of him and his show. But to hold bias over the rest of the network because of 1 idiot is like me assuming everyone at MSNBC are race baiters and cop haters just because Sharpton works there.
For those of you who wish to see the full video..... http://shoebat.com/2015/02/03/watch-horrific-video-isis-burning-pow-jordanian-pilot/ VERY NSFW [editline]5th February 2015[/editline] I hope they get nuked.
Things like this SHOULD be shown, by EVERYONE, not for propoganda or for glorifying atrocities, but rather, the reverse, atrocities like this and many others should not be swept under the carpet or have people remain ignorant about them. It's all too easy to be dismissive and uncaring about atrocities happening in places far away when you're not exposed to them in ways more than just text on a news site.
And to think there are people in my country who are leaving to join IS thinking it's the right thing to do.
The ISIS videos have weirdly high production quality... Its strange to see such a thing thats so eerily similar to a movie in terms of the videography. Makes it seem so surreal. I think its good that we normal people have the chance to see it, sure the news portrays the IS as animals, but seeing it puts everything we're fighting against in the middle east in perspective and why its important that we fuck those cunts up.
Also, ISIS regularly do mock executions with their prisoners, that's why they never seem to be less than calm when they get executed, because they've been run through it many times and don't expect the last one to be the real thing. Although the method of execution they used with the pilot has really pissed a ton of muslims off, even fellow extremist groups, as burning as a method of execution is a big no no according to Mohammed and the Quran.

I'm pretty sure the video got banned from liveleak, I can't find it anywhere else.

wow cool fox news your so edgy by showing isis propaganda sure am glad Isis recorded that as propaganda and a big threat to scare people everywhere so conservatives can shit their pants
