I finally get to live my fantasy of being J.D from Scrubs.
male practice makes perfect
This is so cheesy it's great.
what
what
I thought this expansion was out and this would be a parody made by someone.
I did not expect this. It's great!

Didn't one of the city expansions for 2 or 3 add equivalents?

Last time I checked this was a family game D:
Last time I checked this was a family game D:
The Sims developers typically like adding totally-innocent-honest equivalents of things that would otherwise get them an M-rating. Like the "bubble blowers" that in no way, shape or form resemble hookahs.

yeah that would be sexist
Gross objectification of the male body!
Gross objectification of the male body!
This is an objectification of men and as a fellow male I feel this game treats men as sex objects. I am going to do something <insert action> to combat this tide of filth and show that men can be more then just objects to be lured at.
Gross objectification of the male body!
I really dont want to see what would happen if the reversed roles of this trailer came out, I'm pretty sure their marketing dept knows what would happen too.
There's female strippers in previous Sims games. They come out of big fake cakes and sing Happy Birthday, as was generally considered the norm back during the Kennedy administration.
This video's clearly riffing on Magic Mike and the buzz surrounding its upcoming sequel. No need to read any more into it than that.
tbh I can't see anything about about sims 4
most of the hate seems to be cynicism (justified) from simcity
[editline]18th March 2015[/editline]
it seems overall totally solid, unlike sims 3, which requires the sacrifice of human blood just to run

Free updates have added new and old features at a decent pace, so the game's a lot better now.
So... They took out the original Doctor, Cop, etc. Jobs to make it a DLC? Fucking disgusting, and people are gobbling it up like the fat pigs they are.

No, they made them playable careers instead in a big expansion
They've never had playable careers in a base game, and this one looks like it has way more content than open for business or whatever the similar one for ts3 was called

But they couldn't have included it in the base game? Sims 4 has had the same (if not more) development time as the sims 3, but it's missing a lot of content compared to its predecessors.
And as far as this pattern goes, they probably intend to release all the missing content as dlc (or expansion, but essentially the same, but juding the amount of content i wouldn't call it an expansion). I know that they expanded the jobs to be fully playable careers but to me, it's not worth 42 dollars, which is about 2/3 of the price of the original game.
Disagree with me if you want but i call bullshit on that.

I read somewhere that The Sims 4 was actually supposed to have the same kind of always-online shit like SimCity had, and when everyone hated SimCity they quickly removed all of that online content. That's supposedly why the game is so lacking in features and doesn't have open world.
No idea if it's true, wouldn't really surprise me though.

They fucked the dog a bit on the initial release, but they've been making up for it in spades since then.

Man shut the fuck up. You're talking about shit you know nothing about.
They've brought back a load of features already as free patches, and plan on doing them same with more. Sims 3 did the same shit all the time.

remember the sims 2 open for business expansion? This expansion is gonna be like that
it's taking something out and adding it back in much better and slapping a price on it (along with plenty of other things)
tbh my sims were never doctors because the work hours were terrible
