I'm on my father's computer as of now, he's got a...
Dell Inspiron 530s
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
4GB RAM
64-bit Operating System
... Now my problem is that I can't get any games to work. The screen just ends up lagging like crazy like it's a graphics card or something, is that what I need?
When I tried to play BF:Heroes, for christ's sake, it ended up crashing.
Anyways, I'm wanting to just be able to jump Borderlands onto this computer, but I can't get any goddamn games to work, it's just that screen-lag, sound sometimes skips, just all-in-all runs really slow...
Help please. :saddowns:
please post your graphics card, otherwise we cant really identify the problem
Graphics card information is required. Open dxdiag and click the Display tab. Tell us what it says.
Failing that, because some people get confused, download Speccy and tell us what the graphics card bit says

That doesn't tell us anything about the graphics card, though it sounds like the machine is running an integrated graphics solution and you'll need to get a real graphics card if you want to run any games.

The card that you have is not very compatible with gaming, sorry.
Battlefield Heroes requires Pixel Shader 2.0. Your card does not have this feature, I'm sorry, but it is impossible for you to run Battlefield: Heroes. You could try Battlefield 1942, but 2/2142/Heroes/Bad Company 1 or 2 won't work on your machine.

Dood, I used to have that as my avatar. *high five*
I would pay, but i'm sending a dollar to africa.
Just rip out the ram, cpu and other components and shove it in a new case with a new GPU? Although you mey need to change a few things.
