• I want to buy a sound card to replace my integrated audio which is currently crapping out

So I currently have an integrated sound card. It's some Realtek HD audio thing, but it always pissed me off because in most games when too many sound were playing at once some of them cut off and made clicking noises etc. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and in Oblivion AND Fallout 3 there was no music at all and had lagspikes every 2 seconds because of the integrated sound. I know this because I disabled the sound in setup and all lag disapeared. TL/DR: Need a relatively cheap card to replace integrated. Quality doesn't matter as long as it is as good or better than integrated and doesn't have noticeable crappiness. Some help with this is appreciated because I don't know a lot about sound cards.
What's your motherboard? What's your budget? What slots do you have free on your motherboard?
ever consider the problems could be something to do with drivers

Well you know what I mean, onboard audio. Anyway, I want it to be PCI, and by relatively cheap I mean less than $30. I've tried just about everything to fix this problem - update realtek drivers, use windows 7 drivers, flash BIOS,I can't figure it out and I just want my sound to work properly.

If you don't want to open the computer up to save you some trouble, you can get an external one. Just choose the best one at a local store that is the price you want.
What I'm looking for isn't something high range, it's something that gets the job done as well as integrated audio without noticeable problems. I was looking at some around $15, are those worth getting?
The one I posted is an entry level sound card.
I have one of these and i have yet to find anything it can't handle. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102007&cm_re=creative_x_fi-_-29-102-007-_-Product
