I agree with the skill system. I mean you already level up very slowly in this game and then it takes so many points to reach just one end of one ability.
Obviously I used up all my points for fighting with swords because there was barely the point of investing into another path. You fight with swords for 85% of the fights.
The only other one I did was absorbing quen that gives you health. I never invested anything into potions or anything else.

Alchemy builds make you a master of all trades and not only is it really powerful, it's hilariously broken.
When I fought the alpha garkain in B&W, I took a superior golden oriole and a black blood so every time it hit me, it healed me and damaged itself. I could saturate the battlefield in poison gas with a single bomb and be healed by the poison gas.
Come on now, CD Projekt RED has worked on Witcher 3 enough in my opinion, releasing countless patches, adding new movement system, reworking the entire UI etc. There's already enough quality content in the package, that a GOTY edition just consisting of the game + DLCs bundled is already a bargain.
Rather see work be put into Cyberpunk 2077 and other unannounced projects, instead of endlessly updating Witcher 3

Igni builds are insane since you can perma-stun everything by setting them on fire.
Didn't CD Projekt RED say W3 wont get an enhanced/GOTY edition ?
The general ability gourmet is pretty powerful too. 20min of regen.
Granted its not as strong as an alchemy build's regen but its super powerful early game

I think there was a quote they made just after they released blood and wine (?) where they said that any GOTY editions would take a while to come out, especially if they took the time to optimize the base game as well as the Blood and Wine expansion territory. Unable to find where it was from though, all I remember was reading it from a forum megathread a dev posted in. But they did say, that they would release it.
