I plan to go to Valve next month, what should I expect?

I know you can't record in most places but I won't be recording, I know not to ask about HL3, LFD3, etc. I know to email in advance for a tour.
But I wanted to know... could I get Gabe Newells Autograph possibly on an item? I plan to take my original copy of HL2 and have him sign it. Also do you think they would give me a free HL2,LFD, etc mouse pad for free if I asked?
They'll give you free stuff.
They always do.

What kind of stuff do they give? Nothing amazing i'd imagine (well it would be cuz it's valve stuff) but you know what I mean.
Also, here's a stupid question, do I ask for the free stuff or do they offer?
Lots of hats. All elevators, stairs, and floor plans conspicuously missing the number 3. Also, a deep sense of being goddamn awesome.
Ask if you can see Gabe's knife collection.

I'll try but do you think Gabe will be available to give a autograph? Or do I just have to be lucky that he'll be in his office?

He should ask if he can visit the Valve snack area.
Ask if you can eat one of those big pink cookies.

expect to be disappointed because you won't see or hear anything about hl3

iirc they don't stock those anymore
as i heard from SPUF, they give free bacon.
and im not shitting you.
See if you can find out what F-stop was, and if it's still on the table for its own game.
Just curious but do they just give anyone who comes in tours as long as they ask ahead of time or do you need special connections for that?

They'll give anyone a tour.

Except you.
Did I just hear him say that big pink cookie is 7000 calories? They're all gonna die very soon.
i'm curious, how do you exactly get a tour at valve?
Like, can anyone just walk into Valve and have a tour or is it something you organize?

Sorry to bump an old thread but if anyone comes here to read this, this could be good information.
I got an email from the front reading
Thank you for contacting Valve to schedule an office tour.
There are no longer tours available for the duration of the summer, including during The International and PAX Prime.
We are now offering tours Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm, from October 1st and beyond.
To book a tour, please reply to this email with the names of the people in your group and two preferred dates for your visit. There is a high demand for tours, so we schedule on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tours are free of charge and usually last about 45 minutes. We allow photography in our lobby, but not on the tour.
If you want to stop by our offices to take the big, red Valve for a spin, you can during July, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Our office is closed to the public for the first three weeks in August.
Our address is: 10900 NE 4th Street, Suite 500 (5th floor) Bellevue, Washington.
We will be happy to validate your parking, if you park in Skyline’s parking garage (which is only accessible off of 110th Ave NE). After entering the building’s main lobby, take an elevator from the first bay to the 5th floor.
Thanks!
Yeah, guess part of my vacation to my father (which was mostly about going to Valve, has been ruined.
