Hello there Facepunch.
I have a problem. Recently I have had a big problem with Blue screening. I couldn't play any 2011 or above game for more than 20 minutes before my PC would Blue Screen with error 0x124. I looked into it for nearly a month until eventually I had whittled down the problem to my CPU Overheating, and causing my pc to have a panic attack and Blue screen.
I ran HWMonitor and found out that my CPU's idle temperature is about 50°C while playing any new-ish game is about 64. My CPU's are meant to be idling at about 32°C. What would cause this?
Halp please.
The temps are fine. You should do a memtest. If that turns out to be fine, update drivers. If that doesnt solve it, reinstall Windows.
64 degrees will not BSOD your computer, its nowhere near high enough.
I'm pretty sure the cause lies elsewhere.
I tested the temps after:
1.Taking off the side of my case
2.Pointing a desk fan in there
3.De-dusting with canned air.
I ran my phenom to 85c without issues, you're fine.
Check your video drivers as well. I don't think the issue is with your CPU's.
