Too bad the director isn't even remotely in the same class as Neil Blomkamp or Rian Johnson. This movie is gonna be mediocre at best.
All good futuristic-ish titles.
I'm actually a bit interested in this, it'll be nice to see what it's about.
I love district 9 but it really has nothing in common with deus ex besides both being sci if.
WHY ARE YOU NOT LOOKING TOWARDS DEUS EX
It better have a GEP gun.

It's for ''inspiration'' you nimwit.
The story could work good for a movie.
I would particularly like to see the first deus ex as a movie, because I've never played through it fully but find the story interesting.
I really, really want this to be good, but the director's only good movie (critically) was "Sinister", and he seems way more horror-centered than sci-fi. I'm going to remain pessimistic about this, but if it turns out well, I'm gonna be haaaappy

I'm just saying its odd to take inspiration for a future cyberpunk movie from a movie that takes place in modern day and is centered around aliens.

How else will the protagonist silently eliminate Manderly?

Well, he's not a bad director, he's just a relatively inexperienced one that hasn't had a chance to prove what he's worth yet.
If they do make a movie I hope they redesign the clothes. The HR artists seem to have a thing for paisley.
Jensen's coat was the only alright looking one.

None of those 3 movies mentioned I could imagine pulling anything from to make the movie look good style wise.

Looper, definitely not. But Inception makes sense, as the Deus Ex environments (Human Revolution wise) seem almost dream-like, same with District 9, with the xenophobia of augments
