Sometimes, in 2015. Finally project is started.
Through 20 years of Years refers to the moon the spear of Longinus.
1995 TV series "Neon Genesis Evangelion" No. Vol.2 ten 弐話. For the Apostle annihilation, the Longinus spear thrown by zero Unit Eva, and penetrate the large jump out goal the earth, has been reached to eventually far month. Now you have reached the same in 2015 and play middle-aged, by our hands shocked to Evangelion those days 20 years ago, that name scene becomes a reality. Rocket launch total cost about 100 million yen. "HAKUTO (Hakuto)" the cooperation of the team that deals with the Japan only private lunar exploration project called, is the wisdom of the human race that wins the feelings in the universe, is unprecedented scale of the project beyond the common sense kick off.
This project will only be executed if the 100 million yen gathered until April 5, 2015 (Sunday). If the 100 million yen was gathered, those who had gotten support, original goods or as a benefit, the spear of Longinus to go to the moon right your name is engraved, such as right to send the memory data that want to keep you up to the future on the moon of so that you can receive a "return". But yeah, they need 100 million yen, which is roughly 900k USD. IMO the best part about this project is that it'll either succeed and there will be a lame anime reference on the moon forever, or it'll fail spectacularly.

I dunno, I am really not a fan of EVA but to me it looks like they are more of trying to support their crowdfunded scientific probe to moon by appealing to nerds with merchandise.
Oh fucking well it will stick a french fry fork into the moon surface, it's not like it will take away from actual scientific value of the project if it actually succeeds, it will be awesome if they manage to land a crowdfunded probe on the moon.

you know what dude, thanks! this is way more fun now that i'm imaging this as some science group trying to exploit big weaboos for the greater good of moon science
Only if they put it on the far side of the moon.
now we just need to paint the world's oceans red and to fucking nuke the arctic
[sp]But didn't it get pulled back down from the moon?[/sp]
I find it pretty neat how even today Eva is still really popular. So popular in fact to literally try and send a small replica of the spear to the moon. Think about it. If that makes it up there, Evangelion will have outlasted the human race and become the longest lasting anime throughout time.
Amazing.

Crowdfund 2: Longinus Boogaloo

That's the next kickstarter.
I just saw the pledged amount drop by 65000 yen.
"Guys, like, what if...we put like...a fucking spear on the moon? I know, fuckin' cool right?"
Better yet, why don't they crowdfund an Eva that could just throw it up there? Then you get the Lance on the Moon AND an Evangelion.
Better to have it and not need it.
Yes.. Put all anime on the moon. :v:
Bitch don't talk shit about evangelion
Just fund a mission to engrave "shinji did nothing wrong" into the moon.
maybe if they raise more than they need they'll also plant a flag proclaiming who the best gril is
I hope God don't let weebs gay up the moon
We need to fund an actual third impact.

I don't think japan could handle a third nuke.
Saw this yesterday. This is so ridiculous, I love it.

I'm honestly considering donating some cash, it'd be pretty cool to say I helped land a probe on the moon.
[editline]31st January 2015[/editline]
Also holy shit they're at ~30% after 2 days with 60+ to go. It's gonna happen.
Can't we do something that matters with our resources, like putting a moon base on the moon instead of a fucking anime spear
[sp]But didn't it get pulled back down from the moon?[/sp]
Is gonna return when Third Impact happens
[sp]On December 31 this year[/sp]
