I've had my laptop for about 9 months now and since a few days ago it has started freezing at random. I'll be doing anything - whether it be playing video games, listening to music, watching porn or whatever and about two or so hours of running it will become very slow and freeze. I don't know what the cause of it is and I'm becoming very irritated. I had to manually update to the latest NVIDIA drivers today and thought that may have ruled out my GPU being the problem but I'm not sure. I've went through the BIOS multiple times to see if I could find the problem but apparently there are no problems, especially hardware related. Here are my specs:
Intel core I7-3615QM
8gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Windows 7 x64
I appreciate any help I can get!
Does it freeze permanently so that you have to restart or just for a period of time after which your computer resumes itself normally? Sounds like it could be a hardware issue, you should check that nothing is overheating and use memtest86 to test your memory

It will freeze permanently every time. I'm also thinking that it could be a hardware issue, with the CPU or the RAM after reading online of similar problems.
