i thought they were taking the piss, i was wrong which is a good thing
also those hovercraft look like a fuckin' blast to drive
I've heard the titan mode is nothing more than "Conquest with Rush at the end".
The maps look neat though.
Compaing it to titan mode makes me feel nauseous. The only similarity appears to be firing rockets at a target.
This time the target is stationary, can't provide air or ground support, doesn't require teamwork to get to and survive in beyond the usual CQB teamwork that is present in, say Metro, and is subpar to the original titan mode in every way.
I wish they'd have just said "fuck realism, the Chinese have been developing a prototype titan aircraft" but instead of shields they just have counter systems that the missiles eventually deplete/destroy and allow you to safely get aboard without getting gunned down from all sides. what a boring titan impersonation this is.

the hovercrafts look okay, though
Make a sequel to BF 2142, please.

Not really, the objective was to capture missile silos and bring down the shields of the Titan, and breach the core and destroy it. The thing is with the Titan is that the commander could move the Titan as he willed and as well people could man turrets in the Titan and provide AA and ground support. Though if the enemy Titan was ungodly well defended on the inside you could just let the missiles take it out, but waiting too long might cause the other team to spring up and take down your shields if you wait to long.
SOURCE: Me, played 2142 for atleast 4 years from release to my EA account not letting me play.

He means this titan mode, not the original.

If this is a thread about BF4, I'll be talking about BF4.
Is this game fixed enough that it's worth purchasing yet? The trailer was okay, I'm not going to lie.
Titan mode was a love/hate thing for me
I remember just constantly getting blown up by every explosive imaginable in the corridors by campers. But it was a cool concept at the time. One I think isn't going to be as fun in a modern setting.
You can't drive it, and when inside you blow up freakin M-COM stations instead of fuel tabks or weapon depots or something. They fucked up that part, but other than that it looks fun.
