• Video lag along with audio distortion happening at random.

I've noticed that my computer will often lag and distort sound for a second or so randomly. It happens most frequently when I'm playing games or using programs like Skype or iTunes, but it's also common when I'm just browsing the internet. What will happen is that whatever I have running gets choppy with the whole computer freezing and the audio will have this distorted, almost robotic-like, sound to whatever is playing. Then it goes back to normal like nothing happened. I reinstalled Windows 7 recently, but I've had this problem since I got my computer. Any idea what's wrong with it / advice to fix it? I had this problem and it seemingly was a problem with my Netcard. Updating it caused it to happen when downloading, rolling back fixed it. Right now I'm having some more problems with the bastard so I'm reformatting.
Try updating all drivers, including chipset and audio.
All my drivers are up to date, the problem I have is like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNcB1D9seqc&feature=youtu.be&t=2m18s
