I just picked up a new 640 Gig hard drive, I popped my case open pulled my old drive out and stuck in the new one, and now my computer will start up just fine, but I get no video feed, I tried the old hard drive, same thing, me and my brother disassembled the whole thing, still nothing, during this process the power switch on the back of my PSU crapped out, it doesn't do anything anymore, I can still turn on the computer fine but flipping the switch does nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
Re-check all cables try the power supply in a different computer if you can. Same thing for the video card.
I swapped out the power supply and video card, still nothing.
Re-seated the ram? Try one stick in one slot. And if that one works try another one stick in one slot and repeat in-till you have done them all to see if any of them are bad.
I re-seated all the RAM, my brothers using the cables to reformat an old computer hes giving to my dad, but I'll try each RAM stick individually later.
