• Looking for an Android Tablet $250 - $300

I'm looking to buy an Android Tablet for browsing the web and playing dumb little marketplace apps. I do not need bluetooth, gps, or 3g/4g compatibility - I'll only be using it on wifi. I would like the screen size to be 7 inches, and I don't know much about the Android OS, but I know I'd like a later if not latest version of the operating system. As I said in the title, I'm looking to spend between $250 and $300 usd. (also, I'm not looking to purchase a refurbished or used item) EDIT: I need the device to have a front facing webcam, and if it had an additional camera on the back, that would be ideal If anyone has insight or experience with this type of thing I'd appreciate advice on which products I should be looking at. Thanks.

I know the latest version of Android is 4.something ice cream sandwich, but most reasonably priced tablets use the honeycomb version. Is there anything that I wouldnt be able to do with a the honeycomb os that the latest version can? Like I said I really don't know much about the Android OS.
Personally, I would wait for the Google Nexus Tablet, which will allegedly be $200, 7" and running the absolute latest version of the OS. I did a quick search and there's some Google Developer event next week, which would be the ideal time to launch something like this.

Google never really does that. I'd guess it'll be out by November though.

I'm sure the acer has a rom with ics. Lemme go check xda. Edit: Apparently there is an update to 4.0.3 http://www.xda-developers.com/tag/acer-iconia-tab-a200/ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21890631 If you think you can flash it without bricking it.
if you're okay with playing with dumb little blackberry apps over android apps and the google i/o tablet is not real/you're not interested in whatever it will be, i recommend looking at the blackberry playbook. its a superb little thing for $199, it just has no apps

I'd get this, http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-7-Inch-Wi-Fi/dp/B007P4VOWC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340583869&sr=8-1&keywords=Galaxy+Tab+2 . Made by Samsung, has ICS, and a camera. With a SD slot to for more storage. Also, it's only $250.
