http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=14542706 Well that's about all the info you guys need or if i missed something post it up on here please. Or even ideas towards my build.(PLEASE NO ATI OR AMD) Thanks :D
Get a new GPU doo GTX 470 mann there is no point go to a i5 from a q9550, just get a new gpu like a 470 or some shit doo.
What's your power supply?
new GPU and a SATA hard drive
My Power Supply says 450 watts max And my motherboard isnt really that good either, well atleast i think so :P
What brand?
I honestly don't know. Anything else I can do?
Bump =/
To find out the brand, take the side of your case, then look at the label on the PSU which will tell you what brand, tell us what it is, if you are in need of finding a new one I am sure someone will direct you to a decent model + graphics card that can fit in your budget (please give one), also why do you think your motherboard is bad?
I find it interesting how everything you have for the most part is pretty much current and up to date, but yet you are using a "low" capacity IDE drive instead of SATA, which has been around for eons at this point. Other than that, the only thing I would recommend you do is maybe switch to 64bit windows if you haven't already, and get a good mid/high range video card (like the 460/470 or the 5850). Your CPU and RAM, while not "top of the line" are both good enough and can hold their own very well.
Ok so the PSU is from Okia. @Korjax I do have Win7 x64. And I do plan on buying a 470 or 460 but I might just buy the new build, no?http://redirectingat.com/?id=629X1198&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsecure.newegg.com%2FWishList%2FPublicWishDetail.aspx%3FWishListNumber%3D14542706&sref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facepunch.com%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D970917 @Sgt Prigles http://www.nvidia.com/object/motherboards_buy_now.html Mine is a NVIDIA GeForce 7050/NVIDIA nForce 610i. I dont think its that great for high end gaming.
You can get a new build if you really want to, but if you are looking to save money you don't really need to. The critical things I would swap out would be the HDD and the video card. Everything else is more or less "peachy", even if you aren't using some arbitrary ram module like DDR5
Well, okay but I think i need a better PSU to atleast use a 400 series
bump =/
The 750TX will be more than enough to run whatever you happen to throw at it. If you want you could drop down to the 650TX, which would still be fine even if you decide to go with a dual-card setup later. I might advise you to switch to a 5850/5870(If you can gather the rest of the money), though. The GTX470 and GTX480, while having a lot of performance, run extremely hot. The 470 managed to hit 94C in a test on Guru3D. http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-470-480-review/13
Automerge win. [editline]05:49AM[/editline] -ninja'd-
Its not to say that the cards can't take that sort of punishment, but I personally would not want that sort of temperature in my computer. [editline]01:50AM[/editline] broke my automerge
huh..the thing is im not really a fan of ATI. Eh ill go with the 470 thanks guys :D
new GPU and a SATA hard drive
It's probably already a SATA. It looks like he copied from Speccy. Which is really buggy with HDDs. It says my SATA is an IDE too. Just not a big fan of it. When I ordered my first ATI card it was a dud, burned out in 4days
