Bernie Sanders acknowledged on Wednesday that he is unlikely to win the Democratic presidential nomination, but did not end his campaign or endorse rival Hillary Clinton. “It doesn’t appear that I’m going to be the nominee,” Sanders said during an hour-long interview with C-SPAN. It was the clearest public statement Sanders has made acknowledging that the contest is over. He is scheduled to deliver a speech titled “Where We Go From Here” on Thursday in New York City.
Read more at http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-trailguide-sanders-acknowledges-democratic-race-is-1466628118-htmlstory.html
Well no shit. I think he was aware of this after the California Primaries.
If guccifer 2.0 is to be believed, the race was over before it began.
We're proud of you bernie, you did very well
Well no shit. I think he was aware of this after the California Primaries.
Cali is still counting, technically.
Cali is still counting, technically.
They'll probably throw all the votes in a dumpster though.
They'll probably throw all the votes in a dumpster though.
They use primary votes to do preliminary counts on potential voters in the general.
They use primary votes to do preliminary counts on potential voters in the general.
So they'll throw them in a dumpster somewhere. Let's be frank, unless something drastic happens Cali is turning blue on election night this november. They didn't even post a GOP candidate for their vacant Senate seat this year. A state so overwhelmingly left leaning that the right doesn't even post a candidate at all is a state that's going to give its electoral votes to Hilary come Nov.

He's not an idiot. It isn't like he's just now realizing this. He has been aware of his chances at least as well as we were, and probably more so due to internal information. It just isn't good for morale to say this before everyone has voted. Now that the voters' job is done, and it looks like he won't be the nominee, he can say this because he's pivoting to keep his movement going through getting progressives into congress. Practically the only way for him to be the nominee is through the small chance of FBI stuff, which requires no fighting from voters.
I have to admit I'm slightly disappointed. I really wanted to see Trump and Sanders face off.
I'm not surprised nor dissapointed by this at all. I felt this coming since March. I was ready for this, and lo and behold he's finally just acknowledged that it's over. Also have to repost this now.

As an aggressively pro-Sanders voter, I have to admit...that video was really funny. I'm only crying on the inside guys
Holy fuck that video is funny But yeah, I guess it's just a question of when he goes all-in and endorses Clinton now - although it increasingly feels like it doesn't really matter that much anymore
Joining with the person he was really against or not is really moot at this point. At this point it's either go with a corrupt rat, or a loud bull. Either way this is going to be an election that everyone's gonna roll their eyes at in the future when we're old and telling our kids about the memes of our days.
But yeah, I guess it's just a question of when he goes all-in and endorses Clinton now
he has 0 reason or motivation to do this
he has 0 reason or motivation to do this
It wouldn't surprise me - he's stated time and time again that Trump cannot be allowed to win the presidency. He's played nice with Clinton for most of his campaign for that same reason - he would prefer she wins a thousand times before he would allow Trump to win. Sanders endorsing Clinton should be expected, especially if Trump manages to stay competitive in the polls.
I don't see Sanders supporting Clinton in any comparable quantity to him telling people not to vote for Trump.
Has r/Sandersforpresident exploded yet?

It's fucking brilliant.

He even said in May that if Clinton wants his supporters, she has to "earn them". If he were to endorse her, he would have done it by now.
Bernman got his money, he played his role. Now we wait for Hillary to jump ship and Joe Biden to take up the position and flop.
What bathroom stall wall do you get your American politics from? :what:
This was mostly just conspiracy shit, but hey this entire election has been a joke so really nothing is too ludicrous.
Well no shit. I think he was aware of this after the California Primaries.
Theyre still counting ballots in california. An official tuled that all provisional and crossover ballots be counted (very rare). Sanders might actually win California
