• Photographers! Need solutions for film negative scans

Right now, I get my 35mm film developed at Walgreens or Wal-Mart and simply have them keep the photos on a data CD. They look okay, and come out at 1215 x 1800 for portrait, and 1800 x 1215. Are there any places I can take my negatives to be scanned with incredible quality, like a Ritz Camera store or any kind of printing company, or is the 1215 x 1800 resolution as good as it gets for 35mm scans?
could you post a link to one of the scans? That seems like it might actually be the upper limit of usefulness from 35mm film.
Here's one, 96 DPI: Apparently this site can get negatives up to 4000 DPI whoa: https://www.scancafe.com/
