I remember hearing about this well over a year ago and hearing it was like Monster Hunter the MMO, but it's from Perfect World so I still haven't even bothered to check it out.

It's basically another version of TERA sans the variety of races. Overall it's pretty good for a F2P MMO and I never really noticed any features that are like HEY YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THIS.
I've been looking for another game like TERA. I'll give it a try.

It's not like some F2P games where you feel like you've got one arm and no legs (cough, cough, SWTOR, cough) if you aren't paying money constantly. Their stuff usually offers a solid free game, then they offer a shitload of content that does extra things for you to pay for figuring there is at least a little for everyone.
I hate reviews sometimes.
"It didn't even play on my system"
Whose fault is that?

I've played pretty much all of their games. I enjoy most of them for that reason, though people bitch about BL:R being pay to win when it really isn't. Do I get mad at proximity mines though? yes. yes i do.

Depends. Sure, it might be his fault, due to him mistreating his system, but it may also be due to sloppy coding.
Kind of like the release of Saints Row 3, my 7970 barely rendered at 40FPS even with every setting turned as low as possible, while a friend of mine with a GTX 460 got about 50FPS with everything set to Medium. Took them like six months to actually solve that.
I thought we matured past that "replace S with a Z" phase.
So is it good ?
It's not bad. If you were like me, looking for something similar to TERA, give it a go. It seems the things your character does is predicted on the client (unlike TERA, where there was often a noticeable delay between pressing guard and actually guarding) which lends to a smoother experience.
The only thing that really bothers me is the giant CASH SHOP button always at the bottom of your screen but so far I haven't seen a need to actually press it.
does this have a decent character customizer, like a lot of options or is it like face/hair and done
The game itself is not bad, but it can feel a bit monotonous after a while. On a side note, as far as I can remember, the shop only offers cosmetic items, mounts and even unlockable crates. I may be wrong, haven't played the game for a while.

There aren't any body sliders, no.

It's fucking Korean dude, plus it's not like it's a terribly new game. Technically when I first played it was 3 years ago.

As I said before, Perfect World really try to push you to use their cash shops, but very rarely do you ever feel like you NEED to. They try to make you want to, but normally their games never make it so that you have to in order to actually enjoy the game or not feel gimped.

I used to play this game but cannot get into it for some reason, maybe the combat system put me off as I can very good on one class, but on other, I do really terrible.
