Well he was in 1993...
He's still amazing, fuck you talkin' about frampton
Better at directing than acting.
Martin Scorsese would beg to differ. But to each his own.
Martin Scorsese would beg to differ. But to each his own.
Francis Ford Coppola would beg to differ that
Better at directing than acting.
clint is equally good at both screw you
clint is equally good at both screw you
Well he can "HNNNNGHGHMMMMMM" pretty good I'll give you that. :smug:
says the guy who bases a persons entire acting career off Gran Torino
says the guy who bases a persons entire acting career off Gran Torino
Screw you, I've seen most of his movies that he's acted in. But directing wise he has a better catalogue, Hereafter is actually good.
Well he was in 1993...
HAHAHa!! very funny
Unforgiven was a pretty awesome film, but I do not understand this thread.
Unforgiven was a pretty awesome film, but I do not understand this thread.
That was his best performance. Almost overshadowed by Gene Hackman but still.
That was his best performance. Almost overshadowed by Gene Hackman but still.
I actually don't think it was his best performance, but it was a terrific film, and he was definitely the better actor. Again, Gene Hackman was Gene Hackman. ;)
Again, Gene Hackman was Gene Hackman. ;)
:argh: His character matched his acting style perfectly.
Dirty Harry is the ultimate Clint film. This is a damn fact.
tgtbatu is best dirty harry owns too
Dirty Harry is the ultimate Clint film. This is a damn fact.
Hard to say. GBU is up there with it.
Well he can "HNNNNGHGHMMMMMM" pretty good I'll give you that. :smug:
This was a joke.
Martin Scorsese would beg to differ. But to each his own.
I would like to withdraw this statement. Because of this I have a man crush on DiCaprio.
I would like to withdraw this statement. Because of this I have a man crush on DiCaprio.
He is a really good actor
Why is there big denial on him being a better director than actor? He's won more oscars for directing than acting for a reason. :smugdog:
I wouldn't call him the best, but he is really good at it.
Hereafter was disappointing.
Hereafter was disappointing.
Everyone I knew hated it. I was intrigued as to why this was and actually enjoyed it. It's not as moving as it could be but it's definitely good.
Dirty Harry is the ultimate Clint film. This is a damn fact.
I totally agree!!!
He's more of an icon as an actor. In fact, as an actor he's a Western icon(Outlaw Josey Wales, Unforgiven, etc) AND a Cop icon(Dirty Harry, The Gauntlet, etc). As a director he's just good. What I mean is lots of directors have won Oscars but still aren't considered all time best directors. Wikipedia says 18 directors have won 2 or more directing Oscars, and the awards have been around for 81 years. That means about 1 out of four best directors is a repeat winner. Plus that doesn't even count the great ones who never got noticed.
