Viruses always operate within the OS, every program does, but this one has a particularly complex way of going on about it
They're acting like this is never before seen technology. End-to-end encryption has been around for ages and the reason more software like this hasn't been uncovered is precisely because it uses things like that. The only worrying thing about this is that more like it haven't been uncovered yet.
I won't be impressed until I see a virus that makes my computer say "Mess With the Best, Die Like the Rest" .
Alright, can we all just agree by now that computers are kinda unsafe and go back to like, pen-and-paper letters and stuff for important shit and mechanical stuff for our cars and guns so they don't get hacked, and leave it at that? Seems like people get increasingly shocked every time they realize that a device that is connected to all other devices on earth is possibly maybe getting broken in to.
