Video in link
How many threads are you going to post and just say "Video in link?"

There's no article to copy+paste?

Then summarize it for us silly goose.
F for F-ort
Absolutely fucking disgusting.
Does ISIS want to be bombed even more? It seems like they're begging for it.

Or stop being lazy and click the link? Is it really that much of a task? :v:

It's literally just a 3 minute video
Goddammit scorpius I get my news from SH so I don't have to read the entire article and so I can determine what my opinion should be based off of what most people have rated the post and not do any of the thinking myself
It would be polite of you to give your own quick summary of the video. Some people are too lazy to watch a 3 minute video and would rather read a quick run-down so they can feel like they're up-to-date with the affairs of the world.
Does anyone else deliberately avoid video news?
Just add this transcription to the OP:
Life for gays in the Muslim world is difficult as it is, but in the areas where ISIS rules, the retribution is beyond cruel. Now, again, ISIS images meant to shock and terrorize have been distributed and more examples of their inhumanity are on display. This time, it is perverted justice against gays in both Syria and Iraq.
Ugh. No interest in watching that...
Is this really that much worse than LGBT people can expect anywhere in the Muslim world? Last time I checked, none of those countries were particularly tolerant of that sort of thing. They probably weren't getting thrown off of buildings, but IMO gay people who flee Syria/Iraq should probably keep going.
- Don't post articles without a source, if it's from a magazine, scan it. If there's only a news video with no accompanying text you may post it.
Literally the first line of the sticky. Everyone quit complaining.

However Scorp, you could pump the brakes a little on the threads. 9 in a 24 hour period.

Don't take this away from him, man. He's got a neurological implant where if he posts less than ten threads a day, his brain explodes, like in Speed.
Has anyone who's watched the video able to tell the rest of us what it's actually about?

Well that's the thing, tho. Maybe he could post 3 instead of 9 and put a bit of effort into summarizing what is it about in the OP, if there's nothing but a video.
I know that it's not against the rules but what's the point then? I thought it was always expected that people would actually do some basic work on what they are posting, rather than "here, link to news". If we move to just posting nothing but links, we gonna be reddit.

They keep throwing gays off buildings like they have been for quite a while now.
I would watch it proper but my flash player keeps acting up.

Okay, so it's a video consists of all and only all of the following
- Still images from executions of gays
- Narrative commentary of the reporters
- Bits of interview with men with purposefully garbled voice showing them from behind/in shadow so they couldn't be identified
- Stock footage of nondescript middle east areas
Can somebody explain to me how watching a video would be better than reading an article about it?
