• Looking for a new Graphics Card!?

My current card is a nVidia GTX280 and it's started to purple screen when I play any sort of 3D application. I've done a bit of research and found that it's a common problem and basically the card is dead, so therefore i'm looking for something new that's around about the same level if not better. I'd like a GTX580 but it's a bit out of my budget. I'd like to hear some suggestions for a good card nVidia or ATI/AMD maximum £200-250.
I just bought my ati 6950 and I love it. picked it up from newegg for 242$
I don't know ati cards very well, what does it compare to?

That's my current setup. And I take it the 570 blows my 280 out the water for performance?

Yeah in that case i'll OC it a bit more once I get the card, any suggestions on where I can get the card? I've seen a few called Gainward and Palit that seem really cheap, are they reliable?
They both seem to be reference cards, and the PNY actually has a better warrenty (better in the way of longer, but it may be shit, I don't know). I don't know much about PNY, really. It might be decent, it might be shit, but it's a refernece card, so I don't see how they can fuck it up.
