Turkish gov prepared list of arrests prior to coup, says EU's Hahn
Following a failed coup attempt on Saturday, Turkish authorities on Sunday rounded up nearly 3,000 suspected military plotters, ranging from top commanders to foot soldiers, and the same number of judges and prosecutors.
"It looks at least as if something has been prepared. The lists are available, which indicates it was prepared and to be used at a certain stage," Hahn said.
"I'm very concerned. It is exactly what we feared."
But they're not in

Not the EU, but they're a part of NATO, and in terms of deploy-able troops, they have the second largest standing force in NATO next to the US, that and being a part of NATO's nuclear weapons sharing program.

I know that, but this thread was about a person from the EU saying something, which made it look like the gut I quoted said Turkey should be kicked out of the EU even though they're not in the EU

Um, it's the EU official in charge of Turkey's EU membership bid saying it's awfully coincidental after a military coup, that Erdogan just had all of these people arrested like it was already planned.
It's doesn't say anywhere that they should be kicked out of the EU, read the news article.

So why are we sharing nuclear weapons with this guy again? We dont need the turkish army in NATO, America alone is more than capablr of handling whatever proxy war bullshit is likely to crop up.
Throw them out. We have to send a message that NATO will not stand for this sort of thing, doubly so for member nations.
The EU should revoke the Turkey EU visa deal over this.
The last thing Europe needs at the moment is giving free travel privileges to pro-Erdogan Islamist supporters who start shit in European cities every goddamn time their precious dictator doesn't get his heels licked by everyone. Those people should just stay out of Europe.
This just reinforces it was a white flag attack. It would also explian why low level soldiers had no idea what they were doing.

*false flag
From what I heard, Erdogan has had this list going for years now. Probably using the coup as a excuse to finally clear out those who oppose his islamisation of Turkey.
tbh, I don't think he orchestrated the coup, but im almost positive he probably knew it was going to happen and did nothing to stop it merely so he'd have an excuse to consolidate his power and kick out all the decent people who refused to do the sick shit he'll be telling them to do

That's the prevailing theory on here and a few other places. There's also the strong possibility that he in fact pushed the plotters of the coup into action by placing spies in their camp and intentionally leaking a report suggesting knowledge of the plot so it would go off half-cocked and unprepared.
Read the post with Mete Yarar's analysis on the original thread.
It was not a false flag. It wasnt known in a long prior but a short one, and the govt doesnt know who else is there because the civilian arm of the coup never took off, but it is there. Every single one of the govt branches is infiltrated by Gülen. His Hizmet organisation is shadier than any organisation I can think of, it is illuminati grade. Coup is an excuse for Erdogan to weed them off. That is why the lightning speed investigations.
Religious nuts will get replaced by cocksuckers, and I prefer the latter.
Which are are basically, religious nuts in the line of Erdogan?

Read my posts, I was talking about the guy I quoted a few posts ago

Look dude im on my mobile phone trying to explain things quickly i know that this isnt just a person from the EU
Not really. All types of people suck Erdogan's dick. It is a matter of character. These people are there to enjoy the benefits of being an AKP associate, often but not always are they as religious as Erdogan, who is still better than Gülen.
By all accounts I've seen Gulen is a saint compared to the putrid shit that is Erdogan.

Secretary of State John Kerry has said that Turkey's handling of the coup and future actions may cost them their membership, but it's too early to say. He said the US will be watching Turkey closely and monitoring their actions.
As far as the nukes go, Turkey can't do shit with them even if they took them by force, they need US launch codes.

Maybe not use them directly, but is it possible to break open a war head, take the radioactive material out and use it in dirty bombs?
Like I actually do wonder because I legitimately don't know.

they could technically do that, but theres a whole nuclear arms trade that allows that to begin with, so its a lot more scarier than that.
