hey hey they don't cost $2k for a web browser
I don't think they really need to be that much faster, they just need to focus on portability and affordability. I have a C720 and while it's a nice little secondary PC, it would be incredibly nice if I could fold it back all the way and effectively use it as a tablet (I know they have a new Chromebook *like* that, but it doesn't go ALL the way back), and an IPS screen as Inplabth said would make it all the more sweeter. Having to constantly shift around to get the proper brightness/color is annoying, especially for such a tiny notebook. Other than that it's amazing (tiny, cheap, reasonably fast and has a fucking long battery life), I just wish it were more ergonomic. Chrome OS doesn't need that much power.
I just want to see a chromebook with a better screen than the 1366x768 TN panel that we keep seeing. Even a 1600x900 IPS panel would be nice.
https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=chromebook_pixel_wifi Out of stock and expensive as shit
Might as well buy a real laptop
