My windows explorer always crashes whenever I right-click on a program, or even at the desktop, whenever I right-click an icon, a message would pop up saying "Windows Explorer has stopped working" then everything would look like it's going to shutdown (what i mean to say is, no taskbar, no icons, w/e) but then goes back to normal. anyone here that could help me? :(
i downloaded a new browser(SRWare Iron) just then (yesterday), but the windows explorer fucked up just now. also the browser's not working anymore (currently on FF), i DL'd chrome and the same thing happened (not working)
sorry if i sound retarded right now i don't know much about this stuff

If you are on Vista and if possible, post the offending dll module name when it crashes the next time (there should be a "More Info" expander-thingy on the crash message).

i right clicked the google chrome icon at the shortcuts by the way.
now what
Oh gee, Vista doesn't give you a chance to check the error. Try turning on the option to make a separate exploder process for folders. (It's in Folder options) It should keep a folder crash from taking down everything.
And event viewer should show you the error details too.
It's Windows 7 but Vista's should give the same info.
You might need to reinstall Vista. I had the same problem (albeit in XP) and reinstalling fixed it.
