• LGA1156 Processor Dilemma.

I need a 1156 processor in order to tide myself over until the summer at which point I should be able to pick up something with a little more grunt. It'll need to be fairly overclockable as I plan to game on it but not much else really. My budget is about £70-85 (Located in the UK) and I'm perfectly happy to use ebay if it means getting the best deal. I've been considering an i5 650 (Which I can pick up for around £80 used. Or an i3 (Which I've heard are good overclockers) Already own: G.Skill Ripjaw 4gb 1600mhz ASRock p55 extreme Corsair H50 Gtx 470 (Would this be bottlenecked?) Any help is much appreciated.
i5 760 I would say, but you cannot afford it. I think a Phenom II x4 would be better for you, but you already have a motherboard. This is a dilemma.

Then I would say the i3 is better value. From what I hear those can hit 5ghz easily on air. Just make sure you get a decent cooler. Hyper 212+ is brilliant for the money.
Yeah i3 should be decent, though it is overpriced for what you get.
