I rmember some time ago there was some sort of mod for gmod/hl2 which made the sound of impact of objects on the floor some serious shit somehow, and there were a few people saying how amazing that sounded while us normal people didnt hear a difference Well now i was thinking about how mgs seems to very strongly use that kind of sound design, all these very quiet ambient effects and what not. Like i remember someone loosing their shit over how great a round steel ball falling onto a bit of sand sounded and im really curious how that type of thing was called
